Always get disappointed...

Having an online work at home, sitting and staring at the computer screen that long, makes you dull as time passes by, until you come to a point that you are no longer enjoying what you are doing. And since I've got access to the internet, a chatting site might be a good idea to ease such boredom for a little while. And as I enter from one site to another, I realized how people nowadays are into worldly lust, material things, gossips and a lot of things that are not worthy to get engaged to. And when I found this site, I told myself maybe this is the right one for me after all, my first impression was maybe the people here are different from the ones that I have encountered before, since it is a Christian site I expect that people here are more understanding, forgiving, and open minded. I was expecting that this will be a good sight to exchange interesting ideas pertaining to God, life, the world and other sensible subjects. Yet day by day, I get disappointed, had encountered rude people here, received some insensible message, and feeling a bit unwelcome.....

Yet who am I to complain for this site since this is just a free site, I know that I don't have the right to complain, but it's just that sometimes in life you just don't get what you want...it's always the other way around....

Still I have a great hope for this site...

Christian or not, people are people. That said though most professing Christians don't really take it seriously and are most likely only culturally Christian.

Hi sister!

Everything in Gods time not ours! God is working it all out one way or another.

And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.Romans 8:28

I understand how you feel. Jesus told us it would be like this. We are not of this world but instead ,just in it! We are only passing through.

Even with a site such as this, tares are all around us. They first appear as children of God but after discerning them we clearly see a different spirit. Ask God to increase your wisdom and understanding. Ask God for more discernment and ask God to teach you how to discern. Its a thing we practice and we get better at it with experience.

If you keep this in mind and righteously judge ie by experience and not by appearance, you will be better off for it. Put your faith in God and not people.

When you get bored, sign in on a worldly sites and post a profile with the good news of the gospel!! Make it your business to be about the web in unlikely places proclaiming the good news! Christ came to set the captives free!!

Gird yourself with the armor. Eph 6..its a battlefield out there every single day:excited:

Just keep in mind that if you truly have laid it all down and surrendered your life; most people you meet are not going to be friendships but ministry opportunities!! If you embrace this thinking; it will change your life!!

You will always be looking to the Father to guide you to your next assignment. It truly is an exciting way to live > planting seed everywhere you go!

It will help you greatly if you just make up your mind > to put your mind to being available in helping others and spreading the gospel of Christ!! That way, you will always be filled with joy and fulfillment because you are setting your mind on kingdom duties .

The Narrow Gate

13"Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. 14"For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.

That scripture explains it all doesnt it?

Stay busy with all things that glorify Christ and the man who is looking for a special gal like YOU will find you doing "all things in Christ" ..

Your guy is roaming around looking for you. He is busy doing Gods will and he will find you doing the same:)

Until then try to be content in your life. You have been raised through redemption! Focus on HIM and not the natural. God will surely bless you for your obedience :)

God bless you!!

Femme15 you are not the only one that has encountered rudeness from professing Christians. Pretty soon I'll be leaving this site for good because it has become an exercise in futility. I am a Christian minister and I have been called a conman, a divorcee and all sorts of derogatory things from a Christian woman who wanted to have things her own way. The last time I checked I wasn't married and have never been married to anyone as yet even though I am in my late 40's. That just tells me the state of depravity Christianity has come to now. Most Christians are just pretenders. Where can I find a virtuous woman if not here?

Thanks for all your replies, I do appreciate it.

We are in the present age where our spirituality, is slowly diminishing, our respect for others are not that important at all because, we think that "I" or "our selves" are more important than anything else. That church service, Bibble, or teaching of God are just part of the norms of being a normal human being, that being part of a religious group is a must for us to feel oneness and belonging with the society. It's all about pretensions because we got a good image to protect to, because still we are obliged to feed the needs of our ego, the "I" , "me"....

Sometimes it is so sickening that we are living so less as a human, who have a prime obligations to look not just for ourselves, but to look after to others, other than to think of "I" we have to think "them"/ "her"/ "him"/ ...yet we are passing through this world, but can we make this short passing of ours a more sensible and worthy one?

I don't like to close my account because no one likes to chat me decently or no likes to chat me here at all, maybe this is just how it goes, and we just have to accept it, and try to make things at it's best possible way. May God bless us all

Nothing has changed. People have always been into materialism, lust and gossip etc.

Maybe there are a lot of "pretenders" on this site. Perhaps they are looking to find the "real" Christians. Rather than be disappointed in them or a "free" site perhaps we should be making the effort to use our position here as an opportunity to evangelise and show the world what Christ is about rather than complaining about what we don't have.

God is blessing us all everyday with the gift of life and an eternal future in heaven. Does it really matter if we spend a few years here without an earthly partner?

If we really have a heart for Christ and doing his will we will be blessed accordingly. I am glad everyday for the sins I have been forgiven by Jesus sacrifice, if I don't meet anyone it doesn't matter, if I do then I pray I am worthy of the love of a good woman and treat her as a husband should.
