I haven't decided whether or not I should go into details yet, but I will say that it has something to do with whether or not the standard bible of today is the same as it was years ago. I have reason to believe that it may have been tampered with hundreds of years ago. If I find that this happens to be so, then the enemy will likely hate me far worse than most of the people in this world. Anyhow, that's all I'm saying for now. Post Reply

I believe the Lord calls whom he calls, and allows what he allows. I'm pretty sad, so I'm just going to leave it right there. Post Reply

The KJV is taken from many sources, some of which were inaccurate. The newer versions are just as error filled. The only accurate Bible is written in the original Greek language for the New Testament, Old Aramaic (Old Hebrew) for the Old Testament. The closest to being accurate, that I know of, is the KJV. It is written in Middle English, that is why it is so hard for some people to understand. Post Reply

I don't believe in predestination...other than in the sense that God being able to know beforehand who would be willing to serve him and who would never be willing to serve. What I have to say is this: I believed for a promise...had confirmation (the proof) that I believed...so how is it that you're sad??? I'm not understanding why, will you please try to explain. After all, if you believe your bible, then I would suspect that you also believe the part about God being longsuffering and not willing that any should perish. Right??? QUESTION FOR YOU RACHEL: I don't know whether you're sad about me, you, or what it is exactly...and I need some sorta explanation...and the clearer, the better. Also, what exactly did you mean by what you said in the personal message to me about "yes" not being "yes", and "no" not being "no"???...and about you being selfish??? I need help with that...because I'm not 100 percent sure what you meant. Were you saying that you should've moved forward or what??? Please tell me something...but don't leave me sitting here not knowing. Scripture says that if God has decided to destroy a nation...yet, afterwards that nation turns back from the wrong way, that He will not destroy it. Are you understanding any of what I'm trying to say??? What are you trying to say in this post...I'm simply curious and need to know...Are you saying you're giving up on me or giving up on yourself??? Also, two women verified that God wanted you to have a wife and have your prayer answered (my words). Seems your problem is with your belief (I asked, therefore I will get what I want when I want) and your associates (from what I gathered from your words, these women were prophesying; their words didn't come true, making them false prophetesses). Dude, seems you're on the wrong road. I urge you to consider this rather than flipping the LORD the bird. He is a God of peace, not of confusion; He loves you more than you can fathom. Beloved, no one has any excuse not to accept our faith and become a disciple as in the book of Acts. If you have received ,from God, the call, then you don't need to be pleaded with to stay in the faith. You also spoke of God in the present sense. FocusOnTheUnseen, we cannot presume finality from what you told us publicly. Not yet. The authenticity of the bible. It's very much an heart decision, no matter how long and complex and trying we try to make it. Let me encourage you to not stop looking into it (just don't take anything from "The DaVinci Code" as fact at face value). Post Reply

Years ago I came across this thing called The "New Eye Opener" put out in the 80's. You can find at www.biblebelievers.com. Our modern day bible has change the Greek Textus in 6,000 places and the people behind this site gives 200 examples. A couple months ago I found another site speaking on the King James Version. www.jesus-is-savior.com/Bible/was_the_king_james_revised.htm. The reading was long, but good, I believe it, it makes sense to me. God is Just, and if he is Just, then there has to be one bible that isn't corrupt, it would go against his nature. The devil is slick my friend, Please don't give up the good fight, I wanta hang with you at the biggest festie thats waiting for us. We are going to get down and party with Jesus:) he'is going to rock our face off. hehe! No joke! This life means nothing, to the next, our job is to show people the way. The more the merrier, right?
