Ever felt like you were a yo-yo? when someone you trusted pulled you close, then let you go?

And called you harrassing for saying NO!

One second everything is going fine, then without warning you have crossed the line

done some imaginary thing of disrespect

made you curl in a ball like an armadillo or turtle

your feelings and heart punctured

dreams broken

you wonder what wrong words were spoken

and hold on to the friends who still love you

and try to help other people also

have you ever felt like this too?

It's not nice to feel like a Yo-yo

but we must forgive and let the person go, give it to the Lord

and maybe one day we will see that friend or love in heaven

and know

that at least there we won't be treated as an old yo-yo:winksmile:

Not a YO-YO

In college, I knew a guy that worked in a lab. We both had work study positions there. One day he cornered me in the hall and kissed me out of nowhere, then left the building (his shift ended). My shift was starting so I went to work really puzzled. Then we had coffee later and he looks at me with the most straight face I have ever seen and proceeds to tell me that: a) he was going away to another state to do some science study or something and that b) his attraction to me was purely physical. Well, I was just floored that he told me the truth. Actually I was thankful that he did not try to take advantage of me and them string me along for no reason since he was leaving.

Funnily enough, no woman has ever cornered and kissed me and then told me she had a purely physical attraction towards me - what am I doing wrong?
