They say �see what should have been, but it is no longer for you!� They say �with what we�ve shown you now, it could have been wonderful, but we have tricked you of it�. Woe is to the man whose greatest suffering comes from that mistress. For she will vex you continually, teasing you with what could have been, should have been. But why? Does not a thief serve his time and then get freedom? So then shall a man ever get freedom of what he suffers? �Tis love�, she says, �the greatest of all things, and therefore the most terrible�.
