It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up. You build up all these defenses, you build up a whole suit of armor, so that nothing can hurt you, then one stupid person, no different from any other stupid person, wanders into your stupid life...You give them a piece of you. They didn't ask for it. They did something dumb one day, like kiss you or smile at you, and then your life isn't your own anymore. Love takes hostages. It gets inside you. It eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness, so simple a phrase like 'maybe we should be just friends' turns into a glass splinter working its way into your heart. It hurts. Not just in the imagination. Not just in the mind. It's a soul-hurt, a real gets-inside-you-and-rips-you-apart pain. Who hates love????? Post Reply

And the fact that you are able to be hurt by love demonstrates that you still have a heart of flesh rather than of stone, and there can be no greater gift than that, even when it hurts, for it is in loves heights and depths taht we know that we truely are alive. Yeah I guess your right that the fact that I was hurt by love, is the prove that my heart is not yet numb because I still feel the pain. I guess I just have to accept the fact that life is an alternation of days and nights, happiness and bitterness. That was the reality of life. Neither do i was able to experience it. But because God knows our past, present & future and He is in control of our lives for as long as we give it all to God and let HIM decide on what life He wants us to have. I believe with God's promise for us all. He said, For my plans for you is to prosper you not to harm you. Don't worry you are not alone. Life is a choice in spite of the painful feelings you encounter of loving that wrong man, you choose to be happy. God's plans is the best for as long as we have faith. If you are in pain now, ask God to heal you and you may cry infront of HIM. Just be yourself in telling God how you really felt towards that situation then let go of the past. From now on, try to love yourself. Seek 1st the kingdom of God and everything will be added unto you. Post Reply

God came from heaven, lived life as a man and was murdered all because he loves us. He was willing to step on a thorn, or stub his toe, or scrape his knee and finally to be nailed to the cross all because he wants us to be with Him someday. If we did not get hurt then there would be no need for God to turn to, to lean on, if there was no need for God there would be no need for heaven and unconditional love. My friend once told me "Love is giving someone the power to break your heart, and trusting them not to." Post Reply
View Profile History	For those people who hates "LOVE" Posted : 13 Feb, 2013 01:44 PM I agree with all the above responses. We all have to re-member that we didn't let love in. That stupid kiss reminded your heart of it's duty to feed your soul. But, Love is already inside us. Instead of looking for an external touch to initiate our body to activate our heart to motivate our Love, we rather have to submerge first into the Love (within us) so that it fills our heart and reaches out to touch.
