Im at the age where Im watching friends and family mate up, have children and move on with their life and Ive never been through any of that. I havent gotten to experience the things other girls my age get to experience, and I am lonely and I'm tired of not getting to bring someone home to my family and i'm tired of going to family reunions watching my mom introduce my siblings and their families, and not have anyone to "brag" about when it comes to me. I guess my heart is broken because I haven't ever had anyone who wanted it *shrug*

I KNOW God has a perfect plan out there for me, and I KNOW I want him to run my life and not do it myself..I just wish I knew what He was doing...

I can relate to what you feel right now oregon. But if we knew what the Lord planned for us, we would never get to appreciate them and see them for what they really are..

What i can tell you my dear is to pray and read the word of God dilligently and wait...I know you probably dont want to hear that word but the Lord always has the best plan and its always worth it..

Hang in there my dear and the Lord will deliver in due time, he always does because he is never too early or too late but he is always on time...

Be blessed and take heart my dear.

I completely understand how you feel, Oregon. Most of my friends are married and some are having kids. The ones who aren't married are engaged or dating seriously. Even one of my younger sisters got engaged last month.

I've only dated one guy in my whole life...and after three months of what he led me to believe was a "serious relationship", he decided he didn't want me. I know several single guys, and I would be happy to date some of them. But for whatever reason, they don't seem all that interested in dating me.

Other than knowing that God must have a reason for placing me in such a lonely position, one thing that gives me comfort is this: I'd rather be single than constantly dating and breaking up with different guys. I know from my one relationship that breaking up isn't any fun at all...and it's not something I want to experience regularly!

I think... once you figure out exactly what that one thing is that has held you back, you will solve your self induced challenge :)

Don't pay attention....I've never seen him post anything positive or productive. If you go to his post, look under his profile picture and click on 'History' you'll see what I'm talking about. :) You're beautiful!!

With love,

I much prefer to believe that there is someone higher then me in charge of my future, and He is waiting for that perfect person for me, before my Father in Heaven "gives me away" so to speak...I would like to experience the things other people my age experience, but I've given God my life, and I want Him to lead it :) it doesn't mean I don't need to rant about it every once in awhile, I am very human after all :)

Not to be negative, but i'm starting to embrace my "bachelor" status even more.

I'm not even pursuing dating anymore-personally i think it's overrated.

I guess what did it for me, was when i asked 3 different women out and was turned down all three times.

So i figure this is what my life is...so might as well embrace it.
