THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A BROKEN HEART!Posted : 3 Dec, 2010 05:29 PMThink what you will.... accuse as you do... call it what you want... but I hope that you are never, ever, around someone who loses a loved one. Their grief [broken heart] to you would be nonsense. How very sad. |

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A BROKEN HEART!Posted : 3 Dec, 2010 08:59 PMYou're right, there is no literal "broken heart". I suppose there's no such thing as God writing on our hearts either. Could it be a metaphor? Hmm...pondering... |

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A BROKEN HEART!Posted : 4 Dec, 2010 02:45 PMYou have to have a heart to have a broken heart. Maybe that's why you sound like a robot in all your posts. Have you considered visiting the Wonderful Wizard of Oz? |

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A BROKEN HEART!Posted : 4 Dec, 2010 04:20 PMI don't know that the term "broken heart" would be used as the cause of death in someone who suffered this syndrome. It's also known as apical ballooning syndrome. In any event, the OP with his statement, "Because of erroneous thinking, and warped religious philosophies, we tend to associate our emotional feelings with our physical heart", is himself warped in his thinking that it is erroneous to think our emotional feelings are related with our heart, when our heart can and does indeed respond to emotional trauma secondary to the reaction of our body's response to that emotional trauma. |
