Are you serious about meeting your future spouse here?
I mean, REALLY serious???
How many people have you winked at or emailed... TODAY?
This week?
Have you searched through the profiles again this week to see if there's anyone new?
Have you tried contacting anybody who's looked at your profile recently?
If you CHOOSE not to initiate contact with others, not to meet up with others when the chance arises: don't blame God if you spend the rest of your life single.
If you want to walk on the water, you've gotta get out of the boat!

But yeah, just because you're a victim doesn't mean the world or God owes you. Sometimes ya gotta just CHOOSE to quit avoiding decisions and CHOOSE to deal with whatever is bugging you, pull yourself up by the bootstraps and move on.
Q: "How many people have you winked at or emailed... TODAY?"
A: None
Q: "This week?"
A: None
Q: "Have you searched through the profiles again this week to see if there's anyone new?"
A: Yep. There wasn't anyone new.
Q: "Have you tried contacting anybody who's looked at your profile recently?"
A: Nope. I looked at their profiles in return, but the majority of them are too young or too old for me, or if they are even within a decade of my own age, they live too far away from me to even be practical.
Anyway, all that said, I guess I'm not too serious about finding someone special on here. I've been on here for nearly 2 years, and so far I've met lots of nice people in the forums and made one good online friend that I've met in person...but that's all that has come of this online dating thing. I'm not completely giving up, but I'm certainly turning my efforts towards more old-fashioned methods, such as church/work and introductions by mutual friends! Like my profile says, I'm pretty much just here for the forums.
Well I admire your candour. If I'd lived in the Philippines I could probably have had a different date every week judging by the amount of women from there that view me. Or maybe if I'd lived there they wouldn't be contacting me..? (how's that for lighting the fuse!?)
I have to agree with you though; I think you have to go in for online dating with low expectations and not neglect the other more usual methods.
I clicked on the "My Matches" Icon and realized I would have to be a polygamist to marry them all.
Truthfully, I know three filipino ladies and their husbands in person. They met their US husbands on line and it would be hard to find people more polite and kind then those three. I know there are a lot of scams out there, therefore caution is an absolute. One of my cousins met her husband on line and live happily in Florida ... and that is the only four success stories I know personally. I have had no luck, but that is ok because I am not looking for luck. :)
You're both right. I'm sorry for tarring them all with the scammer brush. Does seem strange though that most of the women viewing me are Filipino - the men there can't be that bad, surely?

yes.

yup

I dont initiated email or wink. Today I replied two emails.
This week?
I replied four messages.
Have you searched through the profiles again this week to see if there's anyone new?
Nope. I usually do viewing on people viewed me or when I see an interesting profile pic.
Have you tried contacting anybody who's looked at your profile recently?
Nope. If they wink I wink them back sometimes. But for emails, as long as I can I replied.

I would never blame God. He always be my Planner, my Provider, my Master.
If you want to walk on the water, you've gotta get out of the boat!
In Gods perfect time He will lead me and give me a sign.

Every day 5 or more foreign men viewed my profile. Others viewed me more than 10 times. 20% of my emails in my inbox deleted because the senders were banned in this site. I reported two guys here that are scammers and they are now banned in this site. If Im not living in Philippines would they still view me? Or Scam me?
We choose to take a risk here so if you think that someone scamming on you either she is from Philippines or not then why not report her to the administration?
If Im not living in Philippines would they still view me?
If you lived near me I would not only view you, but I would contact you.
I think that dkj meant it as a compliment, that he would love to meet women from the Philippines, but the distance is too great. Also, in case you dont know, part of the reason why we tend to mention the Philippine women a lot is because we tend to get about 10 times as many Filipino women viewing us then women from other foreign countries. Its not necessarily anything against Filipino women.
