Strong/weak. Uncaring/insensitive.Posted : 29 Dec, 2010 09:58 PMWas going to ask a question on how insensitive and uncaring a person should be thinking that's what makes a person strong untill I found this article on what really makes a person strong or weak. I thought it was pretty good and maybe I'm not the only person confused on this so I thought I'd share the link: http://www.2knowmyself.com/how_to_stop_being_so_weak |

Strong/weak. Uncaring/insensitive.Posted : 30 Dec, 2010 09:59 AMI've found that too. Like what Coach Wooden taught/demonstrated. Meekness and love is always pretty disarming I've been finding more and more as well. |

Strong/weak. Uncaring/insensitive.Posted : 31 Dec, 2010 03:58 PMMy dad was one of those meek yet strong men. My grandfather used to say that my dad was just weak and had no backbone...my mother said that no, he was meek and mild and gentle, but was also a very strong leader with rock solid convictions -- a trait he exhibited over and over during his life. |

Strong/weak. Uncaring/insensitive.Posted : 1 Jan, 2011 03:16 PMAnd that's the hardest thing in the world to be. Meek. Especially when you know you could mentally/physically tear someone apart that is attacking/insulting you, but choosing instead to care about them more than your self-defense. Everything about our prideful nature fights that to the death. I just have to think about Jesus when we talk about meek strength. Perfect, pure, and justified divine truth/power...yet humble, long-suffering, loving, and self-sacrificing. And even better, it wasn't just Him...He came to show us God's character. |
