So how would you feel knowing your girlfriend has had a nose job? Or for girls...how would you feel about knowing your guy has had a nose job? Please be sincere and don't give "Christian guidebook" answers.

Depends on why they have the nose job. I have a bent nose, not to mention a big one. I could always benefit from some rhinoplasty. :bouncy:

I coworker of mine had some work done on his nose, but that was because he was already being worked on for a deviated septum. The doctor threw in a little correction free of charge.

I think it would become an issue if the person had body issues. That is where I would start to be concerned.

Like others have said, it really comes down to whether it was done for medical reasons or for vanity reasons. Does she feel like she's a more complete person now that her nose doesn't have a bump?

As long as it didn't turn out bad, I wouldn't worry about it.

Tulip89 I really don't think that what you've said is the same is what the others are saying. The comment before yours said that if it made them feel better self esteem wise also, perhaps it was ok.

I was referring to Cobbler's post. I just mistyped. A nose job is a lot of money and a lot of effort just for someone to feel better about themselves. It doesn't deal with the underlying issues of insecurity that prompted it either.

What could I do about it -- ask her to "put it back the way it was before"? *LOL* What's done is done. I would only be concerned if she was the kind of person who was getting plastic surgery done on a recurring basis.

Well, if they had a broken nose over the years it might have to be worked on several times.

What you don't know can't hurt you!! Seriously, if she did it before i met her after as S:winksmile:ilverfire you can't "put it back on " ! If i had met her before she wants to do this, then we must discuss this.Who knows?Maybe it was the nose that made me interested in you in the first place!
