Prove Yourself To Be Loyal And Trustworthy

What I'm starting to understand is there are many different degrees to a relationship and how it turns out. With friendships and romances there is trust and loyalty. And we should all be looking to prove ourselves worthy of others trust and loyalty and looking for people to give our loyalty and trust to as well. If you are true to that, regardless of how things turn out, you will be at peace with yourself and others.

Yup, we should make loyalty and trust part of ourselves. Preferably even before we "find someone".

So true. Seems like no one has loyalty anymore.

"Cool "- could that be because people don't value each other any more?

Example - Employers treat their employees only as an employee number, not as a real person, therefore, the employee realizes this and doesn't feel valued enough to be loyal to their employee?

Brandon - No one can have a successful, happy marriage without trust and loyalty by both partners.

Many divorced folks here are divorced because the trust was broken in one or more areas. It is so hard to ever build trust up in a marriage situation after it is broken. When the trust is broken, loyalty disappears, too.

I think a lot of people don't have success at relationships because it doesn't even occur to them that trust, loyalty, and honesty are things they need to work on, build, and look for in both themselves and others. As a result there is no substance and just a bunch of perpetual confusion and instability. Like the song says, "love is the temple", but those things are the foundation. Just something to think about...
