If you are like mesick of soap commercials that shows the girl using it then she goes out and a man comes in her way from no where and ask her (WILL YOU MARRY ME?)

Then I advice you to read SACRED MARRIAGE by Gary Thomas its much better than watching fake soap commercials and buying it, I know we all here are singles but you can tame yourself before marriage and I believe couples who are in a relationship should read it too

Hope itll help you

Peace and love

@ pschristiangirl......amen! lol. ya there are alota good books out there on how to date in a "Christian" way. Granted, some are a little legalistic, some are just the "Christian" version of the world's way of dating....lol. but some are authentic and practical. I haven't heard of that book you said but a few REALLY good ones are "Love and Respect"...idk remember who its by but google works great :) also, "When God Writes Your Love Story" by Eric and Leslie Ludy.

ya, and @ whoever said the thing about Axe commercials, they are just ridiculous...unfortanatley the majority of advertising appeals to selling an image of sex, power, and beauty...

Is it just me or does anyone else (male or female) find that within the church (those who claim Christ as Savior) foster and enter into dating relationships that are really no different than the world's way of dating? I mean, sure, you have those that still leave off "technically" having sex b/f marriage but is that really what purity/modesty and holiness is about? What about accountability? any thoughts?
