Based on my experience, here are my answers. Keep in mind this will not apply to all people in all situations.

How do you discover a scammer? By taking time. Scammers are in a hurry. They want you to fall in love RIGHT AWAY. They want you to get off the site into Yahoo (it is usually Yahho) RIGHT AWAY. Take your time, ask questions --- specifically questions about the Bible and their walk with God --- and they will be exposed.

What to do with a scammer? Ignore them. Pray for them. Do not give in to their demands/requests. Block them. Report them. Not necessarily in that order.

Out of the last 11 messages in my in box, 8 have been removed by cdff usually before I could even read them. Most of these I didn't even report. It is just as bad and sometimes worse on the paying sites.

They get removed here far quicker than on any other sites I have tried. Yea, cdff!!!

Wow... I've been on here for around 2-1/2 months now, I think and I've had about a 1/2 dozen messages total removed like that. I get pretty legit. messages... I've gotten quite a bit of hate mail, but that's something different all together.

Dennis,

You can usually tell by the glass tops. Most Scanners have them. That is where you place whatever you want scanned on. Then you close the lid and hit the scan button.

I don't know while you'd want to report them?

Pixy, I have been here almost a year now, 10 months. I received 1 hate letter, One I deleted before it was opened because the person was removed and I decided not to open it.He was the guy who you had a problem with and I wrote something to him on the post.I choose to delete his response without openning it.

Only a very few women were removed that wrote to me.

Maybe 2 or 3.

I have yet to meet a scammer here.

I regularly get men contacting me who show up as removed users on my list before I can open the message. I have met a couple of scammers on here. Everyone just be careful.

Arch -- the SCAMmers have tops that look the same as everyone else -- until you lift it and shine the light. A SCANner does have a glass top, you are right.

You goof.

I've not had too many scammers contact me, but there have been two over the past month. Both were banned very quickly...I replied to one of the messages (he asked a simple, innocent question...I'm not sure why he was banned, though, because his profile seemed just fine and had no red flags that I saw), and didn't have a chance to reply to the other before he was banned.

Most of the scammers that contacted me right after I joined the site were from out of the country. I blocked international users, and that problem stopped.

I've found the most dangerous scammers to be the cat lovers. Also, watch out for the scammers that think they are hilarious and are the only ones in the world that know how to pick sports teams. Course, then there are the ones that think girls are the source of all of their problems. However, the scariest of all...beware of men named Dennis!!!!!

The evil Rose.
