Friends are a better choice because you know them somewhat and can form a decsion about them over time.Dating a friend can lead into something else. Love, marriage, and kids. Post Reply
bcpianogal View Profile History	friends and dating Posted : 24 Mar, 2010 10:22 AM I've always had a sort of rule about who I would and would not date: I won't date someone who I don't know at all, and I won't date someone who I already know I would never marry. I will date someone who I know and who has marriage potential. He doesn't have to already be a close friend, but he should be a close acquaintance. When I decided to try online dating, I was a bit worried that I would have to compromise on those "rules." But I have found that I can get to know someone well enough online and over the phone that I can decide whether or not to meet them in person. Once we've met in person and gotten to know each other a bit better, then I can make the decision to truly date him or not. Post Reply
