Well now...I feel appreciated when a person makes a effort an takes the time to reply to one of my babblings here...lol

Please and Thank Yous are the best manners and I appreciate it when some does this...

Jesus appreciated it when Mary washed His feet and His disiples appreciated it when He did this for them even though they probly didnt understand why or the example he was showing them...I guess my point here is anything that someone says or does for me or another is always appreciated....xo

Just in general, when people are being honest and I feel they are being sincere and transparent with me. It means more to me to receive truth, even if it might mean hearing something I might not want to hear, I still value it and have much respect for them. I feel valued and appreciated by that.

Even on this site, having others ask for my input, or shoot me a note sometimes, makes me feel a part of something good, and appreciated for my input here. ~ GraceMae

I agree with Remp...sincerity.

I feel appreciated when someone tells me thanks for doing something (especially if it was not really required, but just needed). I also feel appreciated when someone chooses to spend time with me for no other reason than because they enjoy my company. I'd rather have that than a bunch of fancy gifts or insincere compliments.

Mmmm.... I've never been asked this before.

I know someone that looks me right in the eye, slows down, and specifically thanks me for specific things. I know she means it because she is always on the run and in a rush.

Appreciation can come in the form of words, actions, or deeds. Since I work best in the background, I appreciate those expressions of appreciation that are done privately or quietly.

Mmmmm.... I'm not sure if I answered or just rambled. Like I said - I've never been asked this before.

I kinda balked at this other one, but the more that i think about it the more i'd also have to add Faithfulness.

Faithfulness and sincerity are the highest things- Confucious

I feel appreciated when my kids make a birthday/mothers card for me, they seem to be able to express themselves on it which I wouldnt trade for a million bucks. They are older but I really love when they do that. My 17 year old always made me a card because she didnt have money to buy me one but now, she works and I still tell her not to buy me a card I love the homemade ones ;)

she thinks it's because I really like her drawings (which I do) but it's what she writes that captures my heart.
