I had read sometime ago in a different forum about a guy who was dating a jewish lady. Some christians said to drop the woman because she was not christian.I said something different. What are your ideas on the matter?Do we date jews who do not believe in christ?Other than jesus they agree with everything else.

How easy is it to convert a jew?

Will your testamony get them saved?

Do you know how to tell them about Jesus?

Interesting....................

Well, I am going to stick my neck out.after you get to know them really good ask them about passover.Make sure your are well versed 1st.This is easy, get a book from your christian book store on messianic jews, jews who believe in christ.Pick one out on the feast of Israel.

During passover meal the jewish children go outside to look for who?????? Elijah !!!!!!!!!

While the children are outside what does the father do????

Break a piece of bread into 3 pieces.

Why?????

Father

son

holy spirit

The one piece is wrapped in white linen.

The children come back inside.

They look for the missing piece in white linen.

Now you all tell me what I just wrote.

Do you see the entire 4 gospels here?

John the Baptist- voice in the wilderness.

The one the children are looking for.

The body of christ was wrapped in what?

The children of god went looking for jesus after he died.

Just some simple ideas to be thoughtful of.

How could the jews miss all that 2,000 years ago?

Today even?

Did you know these things?

If not are you really in touch with your faith?

This is a real challenge for you.

Hi

Yes I've heard about what you just shared and it is amazing how the Jews do prophetic things pointing to Jesus, yet they deny his deity.

I don't really know what to say about marrying a jew. It doesn't feel wrong, but then we shouldn't go on feelings, but yes it does seem as though they are closer to God than a heathen.

Anyway this is quite an interesting subject

I do not think it would be wise starting a relationship with the intention of converting someone. It could work out, but who's to say it will? You could agree to disagree, but what will become of companionship? All things being equal, it depends on the person. Who's to say a Jew cannot make it to heaven? "he that has clean hands and a pure heart..."

DG:

How easy is it to convert a jew?

It depends on the individual. There isn't a universal "time period" for each faith

Will your testamony get them saved?

Only God can answer this. But I believe our testimony is never without meaning or purpose.

Do you know how to tell them about Jesus?

Yes.

And I'm familiar with the Passover meal and all its many, many significances. It is facinating and amazing how God brought that all about.

Would I date a Jewish person?

No. If they have not accepted Jesus as their personal savior then I don't want to date them. Would I befriend them? YOU BET!

Hi Nyanda

It's not about who's going to heaven but whether you are equally yoked, and theoretically if a jew does not believe in Jesus well then they are'nt saved. And yes there won't be real spiritual intimacy.

technically,. you are right, jews dont believe in your GOD? kinda redundant, in thinking really, longbefore , Jesus appeared on earth, jewish faith existed in GOD of Avraham, and ,incidentally, Jesus didnt correct any jews at that time that were wrong in their faith.

AS paul writes, christians are grafted unto the faith of the jews. So, i think, the lack of understanding is on the christians part not the jews.

Same God Vic...and it's spelled Abraham. Maybe it is time you actually start attending a church and learn a few things.
