There was a novel, by Oscar Wilde and later made a movie called. The Picture of Dorian Gray Wikipedia describes:
The novel tells of a young man named Dorian Gray, the subject of a painting by artist Basil Hallward. Basil is impressed by Dorian's beauty and becomes infatuated with him, believing his beauty is responsible for a new mode in his art. Talking in Basil's garden, Dorian meets Lord Henry Wotton, a friend of Basil's, and becomes enthralled by Lord Henry's world view. Espousing a new hedonism, Lord Henry suggests the only things worth pursuing in life are beauty and fulfilment of the senses. Realizing that one day his beauty will fade, Dorian cries out, expressing his desire to sell his soul to ensure the portrait Basil has painted would age rather than himself. Dorian's wish is fulfilled, plunging him into debauched acts. The portrait serves as a reminder of the effect each act has upon his soul, with each sin displayed as a disfigurement of his form, or through a sign of aging.
One of the movie reviews described the movie: A corrupt young man somehow keeps his youthful beauty, but a special painting gradually reveals his inner ugliness to all.
Look at the behaviors going on in our world today. Botox, lip enhancers, breast and bottom enhancers for both men and women. Dont laugh. Its happening.
I used to take this eye drop for a mild eye condition, Sjogrens syndrome (eye and sometimes mouth dryness). Anyway, later I see this same medicine to treat it, being advertised for use to help the ladies get fuller longer eyelashes. Well, all I can think, is that people are being mightily deceived. One day, all this stuff were doing to our bodies is going to do a backflip! God never intended for us to do all were trying to do to keep our earthly looks young, feisty and pretty (or handsome) like we were in our earlier youthful years. I think there will be many consequences to pay.
Just like Dorian Gray, his wish was fulfilled, but in the end look at what happened to his soul. Just as his disfigurement of Dorian Grays form, so I can imagine it might be for us when we realize all that effort to portray a youthful image. Why look 20 when you cant move like 20 when youre 80. Yes, move like 20 when youre 80 if you have been taking care of your body naturally without aide. Anyway women and men, your thoughts and contributions welcome.

I totally agree with you Grace about the consequences that they're going to pay for what they did on their body. God wants us to take care of our body ( inner & outer) because it's the temple of the Holy Spirit. But not to the extent of abusing it by some formulated drugs
that would lead to some damage or disfigurement in the future.
I remember my grandmother, who passed away long time ago. How I've admired her beauty ( inner & outer), the only cream that she had used all her life was just pond's cold cream. I guess I need some bonus from Pond's Co. for advertising them.
Anyway she told me her secret; it's her love and devotion to our Lord Mighty God. :purpleangel:
