Admin	Passion Posted : 3 Dec, 2009 01:16 AM Really can't get this word/concept out of my head for the passed week. So I thought i'd see what you think: What is passion and how do you define it both in word and action? To me it seems like it's the whole enchilada. There's passion which causes you to do anything you do. And then there's no passion which causes you to not do certain things. It varies by degrees, and gives you a reason to get out of bed in the morning. I think we can only harness our passion and gain more of it when we look to the source of it, which is God. Like I said though, it seems to be the whole enchilada and I'd really love to here what you think, as well as share what I just said. Food for thought, dig in! :eat: Post Reply

I could look this word up in the dictionary but then knowing myself I would get passionately lost in searching for the other words that have the same or similar meaning...lol... There is Passion of Love for God, The Lord Jesus Christ*. the Holy Spirit. A passion to find what it is we search for. A passion for Life and Living it to the fullest. A passion to expierance an event or adventure new to the soul... I am in agreement with Tarasye. It is a drive. And I believe it is deep within us all. I also believe that Passion is like my (One Feeling) that holds a world of Emotions...and which dirrection will I venture ??? Hmmm...I will follow the Passion of my Heart and in the process I pray my (One Feeling) that holds a world of Emotions will do it with Passion...xo Post Reply

Passion is any emotion that is felt so deeply, so intensely, of a nature where you are in a complete rapture or ecstasy.. If eating a slice of mom�s apple pie makes you swoon � then you have a passion for that. Anything that you have a strong desire or feeling for or are strongly compelled to do, is a passion. Extraordinary excitement, enthusiasm or compelling emotion towards a subject, idea, person, or object is a passion. A person is said to have a passion for something when they have a strong positive affinity for it. A love for something and a passion for something are very similar feelings. Drive is the outward manifestation of that passion, (the �thing� or �urge� )that compels that drive. Drive is fueled by passion. The word Passion comes from the Latin verb patior, which means �to suffer or endure� (as in the Passion of Christ). You can have a good passion or a bad passion � depending on the results. When someone is considered a �passionate� person it means that they feel strongly about things or in their actions they are of an intense nature. A passionate speaker � a passionate lover � a passionate pancake maker, whatever gives you strong, intense emotions. Beware of your passions, because they can consume you and they are also a tool used by the dark one (especially those of the flesh). Passion can be a good and a necessary thing in a marriage and if you are lucky enough to have a passion for your work, then you will never tire of it. But when you develop a passion for doing God�s work � that starts your journey (with God Willing) towards becoming a Prophet. Amen. Post Reply

It is based on emotions, feelings, and desires. and to desribe it in action it is to respond to how each of us feel about acting it out. What makes us unique in our own point of actions. if you need examples then there are a lot of them to share it would go on and on but that is only because I would get responses to what I would start the example with and then others would determine there examples.
