People tend to use the word Prude as a derogatory term, when in reality a "prude" is someone with good common sense -- who carefully weights the consequences and acts accordingly. So I'll just say thank you for the warm compliments and for being brave men to post on my post and especially on such an unpopular topic. What a crying shame that's the case. It's heartbreaking that the devil has the world so twisted into thinking that someone who's a prude is someone we should make fun of. When actually it's an honor to be called a prude cuz it's biblical. A prude is a virtuous man or women and yes it's in the bible both the words prudent and virtuous. Posted : 5 Dec, 2009 03:29 AM Well Kimberly,I guess,at this point in my life,I am a prude too,wich,by the grace of god,may not be as easy for me as it is for you,but I will not give in to this temptation.I dont even consider dating non-christian women,its not even an option. actually,I havent dated anyone for some time now,Ive been pretty busy working and raising my daughter,but shes going off to college now so perhaps my social life will pick up,LOL Also I dont meet a lot of single christian girls at my church so to find a true christian(and I emphasize true) can be a challenge It can be lonely at times but,like you,Id rather be single than be in a relationship that does not honor CHRIST! great post girl,hope to read more from you in the future!:glow: In Christ steve Post Reply

Posted : 6 Dec, 2009 06:31 PM Mog it hasn't always been easy for me to live a prudent lifestyle but lately since Jesus has been leading me it's been a cake walk on walking the line for Jesus. I now instead envy the party goers I feel sorry for them and pray for them cuz that's the only joy they can get and they crash down hard. Glad ur walking the prudent line for Jesus and Jesus will bless u for it. I also know what u mean bout being easier to find a needle in the haystack than finding a prudent mate. I read an awesome post that is on this site about just going to sleep and let God pick ur mate. I agreed with everything in that post or novpost...heeeheee...thats a cross between a novel and post. Posted : 7 Dec, 2009 08:14 AM yes,I too read that post,and it was really great! not only is god working on us,but perhaps also on our future mates, Kimberly what would be worse than as a christian realizing you rushed into a marraige out of desperation only to discover your spouse was not really saved.....what a horrible prospect! especially for us christians who are not allowed to divorce... I am confident that if its gods will,I will marry someday right now I pray that he continues to work in my life to conform me to his likeness.If I find a wife then great! but remember,tommorrow isnt promised to anyone,as long as I serve christ I am happy.
