2 and half years ago I was at church helping guide a truck full of chairs to the back door.We heard a crying sound.I very small half starved kitten just a few weeks old was wondering around.I picked it up before it was run over by thr truck.I took it home with me.We already had 2 cats.

I told my wife the kitten would be around until we found a home for it.Well,a home was not found. My step son hated this cat for no reason.I had to take the cat named Leo with me one day to save it again. My step son was planning on taking it and putting it in a ditch someplace. So, Leo was saved by me again. My wife never liked this cat.The other 2 cats were treated much better.

When my X left me I got stuck with all 3 cats.Recently when I was sick Leo sat by me in my bed and watched over me. Every time I coughed I felt a wet nose or a paw touch my cheeck.

Leo is the only cat that gets to sleep with me.I constantly had saved her as a kitten now I have the loyalest pet.

Do you see the moral here in the story? We are the throw away who Jesus redeemed.:yay:Leo watches over me now.We who are saved are loyal followers of christ.,Dennis:party::hearts::glow:

DG,

God gave us Dominion over the animals -- Soverign Control. That means we are in charge of them. Anything I am in charge of, I take care of.

Plus I "see" God's Divine Spark in the eyes of all His Creatures, especially the ones we have taken into our homes as family.

Some of my most trusted and adored "friends" were and are animals.

'Sundown': my first loyal -- listener and constant companion. " I love you buddy and I still miss you."

'Magic': "What a joy and insipration you were to me." your intuition was astounding!

'Easy': You walked up to me and meowed "take me home" and I am glad I did -- you are special - old lady.

'Boo Boo': A sweeter, more loving (yet fiercer protector) has not been created.

They aree all "family" to me and very dear members at that. So that elevates you -- DG -- one step higher in my eyes.

May God Bless you -- protect you and your family (Humans too).

Peace

it is really funny that when your pet is smarter than the people you work with.

Dg..... pets are a blessing of joy! I used to have a golden lab retriever. She was just like my child. I mean, she brought joy on the worst days. She "smiled"... I think she would often bark "I love you!" (just my imagination running away with me, but that's what I often thought!)

I think dogs and cats are good therapy. Plus, unlike people, when they are working your nerves, you can always put them outside for awhile! :goofball: and even better than that, while they may bark or meow... they can never talk back like us humans can!

I like it when we talk about our pets. Makes me smile. I don't have one now cause of my schedule, but one day, one day I will again. ~ GraceMae
