shalom brethren,

i think i have a more accurate way to detect a scammer the very first 15 to 20 minutes of discussing with him or her; their language is completely different from ours ( the sons of God).

when i talk with a brother in Christ, i know he is a brother from what he says. but scammers cannot stand that kind of discussion for long.

so what i m suggesting is the following;

- always begin by greeting them in our language eg, shalom, peace, God bless u etc. Never speak the common language out there, if u do, then u have just given them a great opportunity to hold a smooth conversation with u and before u know it they have gotten u. speak like a christian. after all this site is meant for us the sons of god and we have a way we communicate with other brethren

-make sure u keep the conversation centered on God and Christ.They will try to bring the conversation to center back on u, telling u how much they are already falling for u and stuff like that! Please do not allow them to carry on. Take them back to discussing either about the word of God, matters concerning their churches; e g u may ask them, 'how was the fellowship in your church today or this week ' or u may ask them how their faith walk has been with the Lord etc.

With this i bet u they quickly run out of what to say!!

i do hope and pray that this really works bc these scammers seem to be everywhere!!

I am again cautioning all that there ARE scammers who read the forums. Let's be careful about what we say.

Thanks for that advice Adelpos. That info seems practical. Hopefully more people can add to that.

Jesus loves you :)
