Admin	how do you keep on looking? Posted : 24 Jan, 2015 04:38 PM Just want to know how does everyone have the strength to keep on looking? I'm amazed at how strong people really are. I just want to give up looking for right right guy. The more I look the more I feel so alone. I am so quickly losing all hope in finding someone. So I'm asking for your opinion, how do you keep on searching? And fight the urge to give up on it all completely? Also is there a time when you should just give up? Because I don't want to waste my time in something that is never ment to happen. Thank you for your time and God bless. Post Reply

Posted : 24 Jan, 2015 05:34 PM My friend without a doubt...seeking God's best, no matter what form of interpersonal or social media method used, will have it's challenges! But that old saying..."it's not so much the destination but the journey, in any endeavor", is how I've managed to stay focused and optimistic during this whole thing! But most importantly, my faith in knowing God has never failed me, keeps me hopeful that whatever happens, I would have hoped that I was a blessing to others as The Lord has blessed me abundantly! In your spare time my sister, while waiting on God's best, I recommend filling it with service to others, spending as much time with family and friends!! You'll start to see how your own wants and needs begin to minimize and who knows, God has a way of blessing you with your hearts desire when you least expect it(smile)! I had desires to find the "right one" but I've already been on plenty of dates to know that dating is not practical for a Christian. My goal became- treat every women like my own sisters in Christ. I was on this site to pray for our sisters, make them laugh, and counsel them on the dangers of dating. To make the short story long, I've got to know my female partner as we have been observing each other for about 3 years on this site. And we got to know each other without even considering any thoughts of dating. Instead of searching for a potential mate, perhaps just being of service to others is best. (as previously mentioned) Hanging around in the chat rooms praying for others, getting to know people in the safety of a chat room or forums-priceless. Post Reply

The most important thing to remember about that despairing of finding the right one is a passing mood. I too was about to delete this profile last fall. For a couple of weeks I despaired of finding someone to talk with. A week or so after the mood passed a gal contacted me extremely interested in me, even though I didn't think it would work out. She and I still occasionally chat. Yes nothing came of it but it showed me there are no signs or times to look for, that it often happens when least expected. The last gal I dated should have been enough proof of that to me. My ex fiance had left me 5 days before, and I was still very much hurting from that. I walked into a coffee shop and had barely seated myself when a gal I had felt extremely drawn to when I walked past her came to my table to introduce herself and say she had to speak with me. Within days she and I felt a more intense love for each other than either of us had ever felt before. However after a couple of weeks she too broke up with me because she was leaving the country for home. However the experience taught me that the unexpected times (and sometimes the inconvenient ones) are often when you find love. Post Reply
