Keep in mind, newcomers...

Each time you see a profile telling you "age does not matter", he/she could be a liar or a scammer.

Each time you see a girl/woman saying "shes willing to marry an old man" above 50 and shes below "it" and her pictures looks like Amy Grant or April Lavigne, you could be lied.

I wish this site were purged from faked ones but, time (your timing God) will tell it true.

Keep in mind these tips, also, which are given by CDFF:

Profiles with PHOTOS are 10 times more likely to receive a response

To upload new images please go to http://www.christiandatingforfree.com/user_image.php

Please be aware of possible Scammers. We work day and night to protect the CDFF Community but one might slip through on occasion.

****** Do not send money to people. *****

Be wary of anyone who tries to give you their EMAIL address and wants you to talk outside of CDFF!

As a newcomer, do not believe everuthing a person says, neither trust those faces you wished to see, both things can be faked and, love, the enduring one, is not easily found online.

If you think you need LUCK, if you think you deserve giving an UNknown person your personal email or skype account, be careful to be disappointed later on.

This chat has a chat you can use prior to endangering ourside here.

You can send messages that arent working in "real time" but, something could appear to lure you away.

Your own peace deserves all.

Right on all good pieces of advice. I'll share a few more pieces of experience I've had on this site and others. Now also keep in mind that while these things are OFTEN true of scammers they aren't always. There are many ways to work a scam and many people who aren't running a scam who have these marks.

My first piece of advice is any gal from the Ukraine who asks for your email address because her English isn't good is probably going to sign you up for a 'dating' account at UAdreams.com that you can't delete. Remember folks English is kind of the defacto world language now, and most countries teach their grade schoolers through high schoolers to speak it. This wasn't always the case though so older people from foreign countries may not have learned.

Second beware of anyone who says they're from the US and lives overseas. A way you can find this out is often just by asking them what the weather is like or what they're doing up so late, or what time it is there. Also definitely be extremely cautious of anyone who says both of their parents are dead / abandoned them and they are living with friends. Another thing I've found to often be true is people who don't immediately show sympathy if you're sick or any sympathy at all when you tell them you're not feeling well are suspicious.

Also, I read the profile of someone that lives in a country where I will be visiting soon and is from the same church as mine. I would like to meet as a part of church not to scam.

thanks for the reminders.

Yeap, is not good to give out your email address and start conversations outside of CDFF when you just met someone. My own experience.

Good tips. Flattery is another tip-off.

In addition to what others have pointed out, i would like to say that we are to be very cautious of the people impersonating to be christians , but in actuality they are from other religious background. Therefore, i urge my dear brothers and sisters in christ that if you are truly seeking to find Gods best in this site , you need to be wise and watchful in every step you take.
