In other words, they think they are helpless in avoiding certain men. The truth is, You can't help who you are attracted to, but you absolutely can choose who you "allow" yourself to fall in love with. I have met nice gorgeous women, but I knew down deep that they wouldn't be good for me for one reason or another. This wisdom and ability to realize this is priceless and everyone should learn. Posted : 29 Dec, 2014 09:33 PM I agree my brother, just as we who believe made the life changing choice to love and trust The Lord, we do however have the freedom to chose who we desire to fall in love with! Have we always chosen wisely...well we wouldn't be on sites like this if we had(smile)! Though knowing we aren't responsible for the decisions others make, even if both parties accepted responsibility, it doesn't make it any easier going thru the heartache of that wrong choice as things unravel!! And when who we chose to love is the right one, I can only imagine how things would be rejoicing with that special someone and with others who'll share in our happiness, but heaven would probably rejoice as well, seeing that we finally got it right(smile)! For me I actually struggle at times thinking I should not be on a dating site. We have to place everything at Jesus' feet. I personally don't want the permissible relationship/partnership. No matter how strongly I feel about someone. I constantly pray and leave it all to prayer with: Jesus if this who I am meant to be with awesome and help me. If this isn't who YOU have chosen please make this all go away and ease the pain, emotions. I surrender this relationship to YOU to do YOUR WILL. Posted : 8 Mar, 2015 11:31 PM lol Arcangel we could use the same logic to forbid ourselves from flirting with that attractive waitress or cashier. You have to give God something to work with to introduce those he wishes into your life. Be that setting them in your path at the grocery store or at the coffee shop or in online fellowship matters not, what matters is those God wishes you to connect with you connect with. Post Reply
