And after many failed attempts at the prospect of love where you've resolved to believe that your destined to live your life single......what if when you think it's all going to just be about participating on the forums of sites like this one, you come across the "one"(smile)!!? Now after interacting in that hue of rejection, scammers foreign or domestic and virtually everything in between for so long, how do you think you'll handle your unexpected blessing? Will you be able to shake those defensive cobwebs off of...."he/she is just to good to be true" or "let's see how long it'll take for their true agenda to come forth", etc. I guess my sincere hope in all of this is that we don't become complacent in the realities online dating affords us, but somehow go back and remind ourselves what many of us signed on for here and on other dating sites in the first place....to garnish Christ-centered friendships that if in just one of them, we'd find who The Lord was preparing for us all along and the work in His time, getting done! Yeah I know what your saying.....there goes Ms. Optimist again, well sorry..... I am who I am as The Lord created me to be(smile)! God's blessings. Just wanted to encourage......... Post Reply

Posted : 1 Oct, 2014 01:05 AM I agree with both of you ladies and glad too you brought this subject up cause there's now more attention and focus on the negative side of the online dating than positive benefits of it. If I can enjoy the pleasure of fishing for a mate while ministering to somebody weather it's in a direct form or it's unknown by me that someone else would be getting a long waited answer that is now addressed through a certain subject discussed in the forum, if I can enjoy these while I'm at the comfort of my space, then it was worth registering and making friends as I get to know and connect with people globally. Posted : 21 Nov, 2014 08:52 PM Remember, GOD knows what you want and the most important thing is that he is 1st before anyone, this is not just hard for anyone but myself included. Remember you kind of get what you see on these sites and you have to try twice as hard to go through the fake guys. Continue to meet guys in person, church groups etc. But don't forget to ask our Lord wants you to ask and ask again and wait some days for his response. We where born to experience life with another, unless GOD shows otherwise. Hope this helps.. Post Reply
