Everyone is looking for perfection. Nobody wants to settle and get to know someone when there tons of other better looking persons online. And that is why online dating is so unsuccessful. We all say as christians we should go for inner beauty bla bla bla it never happens. ESPECIALLY not online. Post Reply

Posted : 17 Dec, 2013 05:49 AM Ouch!!!...I've found many good folks here on line however never a match...this isn't "match" dot com...lol...Some look for perfection...others just like to look...God uses all kinds of media to connect people so its possible to happen here...I wonder if maybe those that do not find what they are looking for in a mate here...are possibly looking in the wrong place....As Boaz found Ruth in the field...a Gent is sure to find her if he keeps his heart open and his mind focused on Jesus...these sites are considered a field...just my two bits...GOD Bless you in your search...xo Post Reply

Have an open mind and trust the Lord for someone. Meet someone online get to know each other,meet them physically and through prayer and supplication God will guide you. Many people have found their mates online.You have to be positive and trust in God. From your post it seems like you have no faith at all. Posted : 22 Dec, 2013 09:55 AM I completely agree and am perfectly happy about this, because to be honest, I'd much rather meet my future wife in real life than online. I think the correct attitude to have towards online dating is to think of it as an appendix, we are slightly better off for having it, but would be fine without it in our lives since it isn't that critical to sustaining it. Posted : 23 Dec, 2013 12:48 PM Online dating is a bit like playing the lottery: the odds are so stacked against you that you know it's basically a waste of time, yet every week a new winner proves that it IS possible (and there have been a few over the years I've been here that have found their match) and so we keep on trying hoping that maybe today will be 'our' day, whilst cursing the statistics that say it probably won't. Unlike the lottery though, most of can 'win' a consolation prize or two - no, I don't mean somebody you don't really want, but rather things like friendship, teaching, and dare I admit it, maybe even correction! When the person will be ready she will come forward. It's normal to feel discouraged but have faith. And I don't think you should worry because you're a good looking man ;) Post Reply
