For example, in the garden of Eden all the fruits were allowed but only tree of the knowledge of good and evil was forbidden. the Christians must however love the Christians. It is written. how can someone who loves God more than anyone accept someone to whom God is not the priority. As long as you feel that a person is good person and he wants to marry you and he or she is Christian why not. God says in the scripture that man choose but God takes the last decision. if it's meant to be it will if not, God will separate you. IF you let God take the initiative. sisygirl View Profile History	Is there only one person on earth made for you Posted : 27 Oct, 2013 10:31 PM Interesting subject you're hosting here, You've got me thinking a little, sweet sis' When saying "If it's not meant to be it will not, God will separate you..." you've taken me back to a conversation i've had with God a while ago. NB... This is a little far fetched from what you've posted here, bear with me please dear. There was a time when I wondered and asked God if things are ever meant to be OR it's all up to individuals to make things worth their while, whith much responsibilities ofcause from both paties if decision taken is making things work for their own good? He's answer to me was somewhere in the book of Proverbs, was never able to find that chapter again till this day. The answer was "Fools ruin their lives with their own foolingness and they get angry at the Lord" my eyes were led to this sentence before even reading the whole chapter. That was my answer right there. From that day onn Till today I have never blamed God for anything not working out in my life, i've learned to take responsibility for my actions. Instead that was clarity that He's the Lord of principles. He can associate us with 'suitable possible mates' though it is all up to us to align our selves with he's principles and therefore having the relationship working out. He values agreement more than anything, hense He's word says "Two parties cannot walk the same path unless agreed to.." That answered my question about Queen Vashti if she was not meant to be, since she was disqualified. She missed God's protocol about submission. That was her error that compromised her the royal position as the Queen of the palace. Let's look at Ruth on the on the othe hand: (do keep in mind of my above warning pleaese sweetheart, I did warn that i'll go a little overboard in my reply. Hope you don't mind) With Ruth, maybe it was meant..... Maybe not. Only God knows. The only thing I observe is that both parties kept to their gender places (protocol) and therefore the relationship functioned very well. When Ruth uncovered Boaz's feet and lie'd down on he's feet, that was communication of submission with less words but through actions. She then took instruction from Boaz after she submitted herself to him. Boaz knowing he's place as a man, provieds her when she was about to leave in the morning. Both parties kept to their gender roles, God was more keen on He's principles than facts of who initiated with who. I still wonder even now if things are ever meant or we make them work?
