I know with some white people.. : ) lol...they may be friends with another race..but when it comes to marrying..or letting there son .. or daughter marry another race... it's somethin else...I'm not bangin on white people..I'm half white myself...and even with the black community...its kinda the same... Iknow some people can like what they like... but to get stuck on one particular race.. the verdicts still up on that : ) Although there some races I find have more beautiful women than other races in my eyes...I'm still not stuck on one... see beautiful people in all races... and personalities too...

you wouldnt have that problem in my family we have a bit of everything mixed in.

I think that people that refuse to date outside their race could be missing out on that person that god wants for you.

I agree, my family IS the rainbow coalition. Our roots and our marriages.

I don't think it's wrong to like only one race, that's a matter of personal preference. But if parents would stop their children from marrying another race solely for that reason, then I don't think that's cool anymore.:goofball:

You are right, beautiful people with the most awesome personalities can be found all over the world, and yes, in all races. I believe that God has designed it to be that way.

As for me, I would want to see the whole of God's creation, not just the tiny part of it.

God bless you.

I always laugh when people talk about race. Weve had thousands of years of mixing. No one really knows what they are.

I chose my first wife solely on appearence in my shallow world. But these days in my deep world I chose a woman of great virtue. We choose according to who we are.

The wounderful thing is God redeems us. God redeems a missed oppertunity, God redeems and wrongful decision, God redeems a selfish attitude. God Redeems !!!!!

Praise God!!!!

God in His athority confused the toungues of nations and in His authority has give to me a woman with confused tounges. But in our life and devotion to God we have found great unity of Spirit.

If you selll your selves short by limiting God then you could be the one at loss. God is limitless and the one you least expect could be the very best for you.

I totally feel that race shouldn't be a factor bcuz where there is love, there is love! And with God in the mix of things, any loving relationship will be successful!!

Like many people I prefer someone similar to myself not just in faith but in education, personality type and also race..... especially if I were going to have kids because who does not want to look in their child and then grand child and see them self?

Another thought is the risk marriage brings and the farther apart people are in culture, race education etc the more conflict there is "likely to be."

I know of mixed couples who have made it work but stats tell us they are less stable.

Another interesting note is the research done on dating sites. I read an article not long ago which showed most people zero in on their own race and very often have racial preferences. The most likely to seek outside their race were Black males and the least likely were White females or was it Asian females, I forget but if someone is interested let me know and I will dig it up.

Interestingly, not everyone is a winner in the trend to find a mate outside their race.

The two groups which are hit the hardest are Black females and asian males as both of these groups fail to attract suiters outside their race at the rate that they lose potential partners within their race (due to them finding partners outside their race.)

Great subject!
