RE: My prior Posting "Ask A Guy" What are you expecting

Every Issue From Your List Appllies to this man who has been on this site he calls home, and according to him for years.

This Married Man, Michael, over the past few hours edited his profile. His profile solicited "Help" to "young ladies". He says he's married, when hes outted at least. His profile says he's single. I've asked him to not communicate with me, course to no avail, in his mind he thinks hes here to make every woman acceptable to God, and then with his (Michael's) help the crazy female can then be a true joy to her husband. I am not here to talk to married men. He shows time and again, he has NO respect for women or the word of God for that matter. How many young, misleadable women is this guy in communication with? This is dangerous, this man twists the word of God to fulfill what he has as a life and apparently everyone knows about it. Will/were you responsible if/when something happens?

So what if he's married or single? Lots of people come here to use the forums with no intention of dating and there's nothing in the rules against that. He himself has said he's not looking for anyone as he is engaged to be married so it's hardly as though he's trying to trick women.

Finally, whilst you may not like what he says or the advice he gives, and I'll admit I don't agree with him on everything, I will defend his right to state his views and understanding of the word because ultimately, his right to do so is yours and mine too. Neither are the admins responsible for what people do as a result of advice or opinions here - we're all adults, capable of making our own decisions and judgements (with reference to other more mature believers as needed), and each of us are solely responsible for the consequences.

I've got to second what DKJ is saying, He's exactly correct.

You two say that it does not matter that the man is married.

And more-so that his profile claims him to be single.

I had to go look at the heading of this website, and copy paste it here below:

"Welcome to Christian Dating For Free, The #1 Free Christian Dating Service for Christian Singles."

So a married man (or engaged man or a liar) would surely matter to any sincere Christian Lady.

And one would expect it to be objectionable to any Christian Man who actually tries to live up to that name.

I'll say it again because it's clearly not getting through: not everybody on this site is here for dating. If he's here for dating, after saying that he's due to be married, then fine, report him to the admins. Likewise, if you can find in the site rules that this site is *only* to be used by a) Christians, and b) singles actively looking to date others, then again, fine - go ahead and report him. If you want to be strict in your interpretation then bear in mind the chat forums and especially several of the categories within are nothing to do with dating as such - that should be enough to tell you that this site caters to more than just A and B above.

I'm going to go out on a limb here, so I'll apologise right now if this doesn't fit you, but I do get the feeling that some people want this to be a singles exclusive site with no input from married or engaged people at all. My personal opinion is that that would be a shame, ignoring the varied experiences of people who have already walked this road. Still, if people want that then they're free to petition the admins to make the site such. What I have a problem with is people flaming (after all, that is what it is) others in multiple forum categories based on a preference for who they want advice from. If CA had sent the admins a private message about LTM instead of spamming several categories with her complaint, we wouldn't be having this whole ruckus now.
