Posted : 20 May, 2013 03:00 AM That one is a least of my worries, my concern would be getting married only to get divorced few years to come. The after affects of divorce turn to be hectic especially if there are kids in the picture. (referring to the bible) God was divorced in the garden of Eden, reading about the fall of a men in Genesis 3. Can you believe that He still goes through the after effects of that divorce even now? The moment Adam listened to Eve about eating a fruit, that was divorcing God by listening to foreign gods (the snake through Eve) Till this very day mankind still striggles with sin (Thank God for Christ Jesus who came to restore what was lost in the garden of Eden) though we're still compromised of the relationship that we were suppose to have with God. Back then God would come down for a fellowship with man, but now we strive to reach out to Him as a result of sin/divorce. The principle was changed from that day til now (thank God for the Holy Spirit that dwells within us, keeping us connected to Him.) New altinatives had to be made so we can relate & connect with God after the divorce through sin has separated us from Him. In short its better not to even get married than to marry only to be divorced. The after effects can be very hectic, lasting you a life time. Post Reply
