Questions? Food for thought...

1. Do your core beliefs line up with the word of God?

2. Do the things that you are looking for/attracted to in the opposite sex based on what the word says a "real" man or woman should be?

3. How much are you allowing the world's views to seep in and "shape" who you want in a future spouse?

4. Do you know what the bible teaches about who you should be as a Godly individual?

The Bible should be the ONLY guide for our lives. To be successful we need to do things God's way.

These are questions that have been on my mind. I keep being reminded to filter what "I" think through the the word and then changing them to line up with the word....

Question:

1. Do your core beliefs line up with the word of God?

Answer:

Not only that, my core beliefs are logical as I think Jesus is the master of flawless logiic... For example: Love your enemies... that is the removal of the burdon of hate from your soul. Hate = stress, stress = disease and death.

Quetion:

2. Do the things that you are looking for/attracted to in the opposite sex based on what the word says a "real" man or woman should be?

Answer:

Unknown but, I seek Abagail and I seriously doubt a worldly woman could posess that kind of character and loyalty to an ill mannered man. Abagail did, and that is what made her remarkable.

Question:

3. How much are you allowing the world's views to seep in and "shape" who you want in a future spouse?

Answer:

Zero, I am my own worst enemy, I sure don't need some other doofuses take on things... I can make a mess all by my self.

Question:

4. Do you know what the bible teaches about who you should be as a Godly individual?

Answer:

Actually the bible shows cause and effect... If you live well and pick an evenly yoked mate your chances are considerably better than if you ignore all the examples provided for you in the ancient text.

Claim:

The Bible should be the ONLY guide for our lives. To be successful we need to do things God's way.

Rebuttal:

No it should not. The bible is perhaps the master key but the bible says seek knowledge. Learning textual analysis in a formal educatin setting is important. It opens up the layers of the bible and constantly allows you to see a clearer meaning than if such things were not learned.

Statement:

These are questions that have been on my mind. I keep being reminded to filter what "I" think through the the word and then changing them to line up with the word....

My Opinion:

We as humans are in a state of fluxion, we keep learning until we pass... that is a good thing. You seem to be contemplating things and that is the best thing you can do to make your personal philosophies match up with the general themes in the Bible.

Kudos to you for taking the time and effort to examine the line from the word to your thoughts and what influences your thoughts and behaviors.

DeeDee, such a wonderful thought you shared again here today! If I were to answer and summarily i will say Philippians 2:25 - King James 2000 Bible (2003)

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus

When the kind of the mind found in Jesus is found in us, trust our desires and requests and even opinion will not conflict!
