When we read about the greats of the bible we read before their names by faith.

Do you know the difference of being a faithful individual and walking by faith?

If we were to read about your life could we put by faith before your name?

While looking for a mate think about this little phrase. You see a babe in christ by faith trusts God for salvation. But this is the whole of their faith.

When we read to not be yoked together with unbelievers it is referring to faith. Faith in Christ is the most basic form of faith.

Some of us have progressed beyound the initial trusting of God for salvation to trusting God in life.

Our amount of faith matters in relationship it is the unity that helps us navigate the world we live.

Without faith is fear and fear drives us to make decisions that are not for the mutual benifit of a marriage.

With God as our focus of faith and support this removes the burden of responsibility when everything falls apart. We as people tend to blame and our spouse is the first one we place our target on, right?

My future bride and I know we are nothing apart from our faith in God. Every good thing and every troubling thing comes from God. Even when we make poor decisions we can by faith trust God for our future.

Faith is the great foundation a strong Christian marriage needs to built upon.

If our focus in faith is not in trusting God then we place our faith in our selves or we place our faith in our spouse.

We should have some level of faith in eachother but that faith is limited and secondary to our faith in God.

If our faith in God is strong then we will be forgiving, understanding and secure even in times of hurt and great pressure.

You can expect trouble in relationship and God will bring it to you. It is His way to develop faith in you together and strengthen the unity between you walking with God as lead.

If you look at trials and troubles as a oppertunity to grow together by faith then you will see them as great blessings.

Taste and see that the Lord He is good!!!!!!
