Admin	"The One" Posted : 2 Sep, 2012 08:37 AM Ya know, I think all of us at CDFF have at least one thing in common. Most of us have had our hearts broken at one point or another. Most of us are wonded in some sort of fashion. So, new relationships are hard, right!! But they can be ok if the Lord is at the forefront. One of my favorite songs is called "The One" by Gary Allan. If you'll bear with me, I'll write the words. This is what I would love for a man to say to me, as I'm sure lots of you would too. Men and women both. Isn't that what all of us are seeking? Nobody wants the games that adults play. Most of us here are looking for a Christian man/woman. So we need to get down to business with God (as I'm sure most do) and pray for His will. Is His will fun? Is it easy? Nope. Not gonna lie. I don't think any of us like waiting on God. But I've recently been in a situation where I was talking to someone but prayed for the Lord's will....it hasn't worked out. So I guess that's what you call God's will. Let's be to each other, whoever it is, the one who serves the Lord and puts His will before ours. Shew, that's askin a lot! But the right person, even if we have to wait a while, will save us a world of hurt. God bless. Post Reply

It's the waiting that is so hard. For it takes a while to find someone you would like to get to know and then it's still not guaranteed that person is the one. It takes time. All of it does, but they will be worth the wait, I am convinced of it :) Post Reply

View Profile History	"The One" Posted : 29 Sep, 2012 04:40 PM I really believe that the ones on these dating sites are just broken vessels..Some are not completely healed yet and they need time to heal as in that song..And for those of us coming out of the healing process who are still raw in our hearts, we need someone who is strong enough to deal with our old wounds that are still healing.. Makes for a mess doesn't it..because if the wound is not completely healed over all it takes is one bump and the bleeding begins again.. How can a new relationship flourish and blossom when the healing is not complete?? I don't have the solution except to send them to Jesus who is the great physician.. it is to much for me to handle.I can only lead them to the one that can heal them completely.. Post Reply
