Admin	Luggage Posted : 26 Jan, 2009 08:24 PM Hi, I have been seeing a lot of posts on here lately that would suggest that some of us may have some baggage from past relationships or dating experiences. When we bring our baggage into a new relationship it's contents: anger, bitterness, wounds from the past, etc. will ruin the relationship. There is a wonderful short dvd called Luggage, it is one of a series of short teachings by Rob Bell. You can find it at nooma.org. I have a copy that I have loaned to many people and it really ministered to them. As Christians we should be walking in freedom, not being weighed down by the baggage of the past. See, Some people do have luggage (issues/problems) going into a relationship, which are stored in suitcases (minor) problems that can be worked out. Others have BAGGAGE(serious issues/problems) which takes a U-haul (overload of serious personal issues from their past) which does take a U-Haul to move their problems out fo the way), because their problems and issues are never ending and they are like the ever-ready bunny, they just go on and on and on....:zzzz: You know when you're traveling you carry suitcases. But Baby please, when you move... U-Haul is the best things to getting there! you can just throw everything in the back without packing:ROFL::zzzz:. Never get involved with a person who has never ending problems stored in a U-Haul, from 40 yrs ago... you're setting yourself up for a relationship that goes no where. I had a guy with whom I had an interest and he showed interest in me, but believe it or not, this dude still had his wife's old photos hanging all over his walls and end tables, and she had been dead for over 25 yrs.:angel:... that was a red flag for me... so I just kept it moving!:nahnah:... I would think this to be U-haul storage:yay: please over look typos... Post Reply
