There are several people Christian men and women I have come in contact with who have never been married at

50. Thing is they say they wanted to be married. So, my question is, is there someone for everyone like you so

often hear people say?:excited:

Could it be we are so picky we pass over the mate that could truly be for Us!

Well, from what I have observed and heard...i've seen that nowadays people are afraid of risking it. Cos there is so much going on: divorce and unhappiness in a marriage they forget that marriage is a blessing and they are afraid of risking being hurt.

Like i told a guy friend some time ago: If you can't risk falling in love you are at risk of losing someone special.

I know i'm one to talk, sometimes I have been wondering if i've been holding myself back. But i'm learning to let go and truly trust my heart, for it is renewed and desire happiness from the lord. And that happiness is what I need not want (in a man). dunno if i made sense.

I do not believe honestly in "the one", cos there are many people out there who are worthy of one... there are alot of godly men out there but not all will be my husband, but the one I choose and if he chooses me!

I hope I didn't drift off, I usually do that. hehehe

One thing we need to realize STRONGLY is our NEED to be IN the world, but not OF the world. Ppl 'IN" the world are at "risk" at ALL times. However, even when asked to walk on the water, Peter didn't seem to consider it a "risk", because, as ALL believers "should", he was walking by FAITH. If we align our wills with God's, and lean on Him, praying unceasingly and "PATIENTLY" waiting on His answer and NOT what we want to hear, the "risk" factor would be eliminated. It would also require that the person have a "renewed" mind and realize what marriage is really about. Marriages fail 4 two reasons(my opinion only). The participants either didn't TRULY mean what they said, or didn't TRULY KNOW what marriage is about. It SHOULD be based on a picture of Christ's marriage to His church:yay:
