View Profile History	love at first sight?what's your view Posted : 20 Oct, 2011 01:59 PM Love at first sight certainly exists - but that alone doesn't keep a relationship going; the real love is when you choose daily to love someone, and in doing so it becomes easier and easier as "love grows". The sad fact is that mutual love at first sight is a rare thing, which is why we spend so long dating - to see if there's that spark there just waiting to be realised and then fanned into flame... I do know of people, who had love at first sight. Myself, I never had felt love at first sight, I had to get to know the man and see how were interacted with one another. Post Reply

My understanding is that love is a choice made daily, thus it can not be generated in a moment. It takes time to develop, as both parties learn about each other (character, loyalty, fidelity, etc.). I do believe that people confuse physical attraction for love at first sight. I also believe that in order for you to love someone you have to KNOW that someone. How can you love someone if you do not know them? It does not make any sense to me. Falling in love is a process which begins by getting to know the other person better. Post Reply
