When Someone Else's love makes you feel guilty

Its a terrible feeling. I believe I am trying to give it to the Lord. But while getting to know someone, feelings weren't developing on the same level or at the same speed. I view this person as a friend, and have been honest about that, this person too has been honest about how they do not view me as just a friend. My trouble is, due to many factors we discontinued getting to know each other. However, that person still continues to do things for me which are so kind. Things which show that they are thinking about me, care about me, are there for me.

...And I feel guilty. I don't know why I feel guilty. Its kind of confusing.

You can't hold yourself responsible for how other people choose to feel. If you have agreed to stay friends with this person, then just accept their gestures as friendly (and nothing more) or ask them to stop doing special things for you and just treat you as any one of their other friends.

No matter what you choose to do about this, you have no reason to feel guilty. You didn't do anything wrong. :)

I once chose to continue to be a man's friend after he wanted to get married and I said No way. He could either except

friendship are not so he did.
