Posted : 14 Oct, 2011 08:42 PM First of all, i posted a while back of how girls and guys have a fantasy envisioned in their minds on what they hope to find on this site. Therefore, these same people will just disrespect other people who message them by ignoring or just blocking them because it doesnt meet their fantasy or preference. Therefore, people who look at face value attributes and check off things that don't meet their preference are really un-Christian. Who are we to judge by other people's attributes? It is simply stupid and biased. Apparently they do not want friends or believe God will magically give the right person to you. Well, if God saw all the ignorance and disrespect, what makes you think He will answer your prayers? Not in the slightest. We are here to serve Christ. Do i believe God has that special someone for us? Surely, but it should not be our main focus because Christ is our main focus. That is why we should be open to all conversations (that don't involve sex or sinful things). Post Reply

Posted : 15 Oct, 2011 12:51 PM Society has been telling people for ages that they can have whatever they want if they're beautiful or rich enough (or can get a big enough loan!), with no thought to the cost or responsibilities. That mentality has filtered down throughout the last generation or two and we're reaping the results now - people going bankrupt buying luxuries they can't afford, business not planning for hard times - heck, even the governments have been spending more than they get! And at the bottom of the pyramid where you and I stand, people keep telling themselves they shouldn't settle for second-best and the partner they're wishing for and deserve will turn up sooner or later so they don't need to try or be realistic, just patient. Years down the road when they've had a string of relationships and haven't settled down, they complain no-one notices them anymore, and the ones they like are too choosy to pick them! The man/woman of your dreams isn't coming! God never promised He'd give you that, He gives you people with faults so that you can be a blessing to them, and they will become a blessing to you with your own faults - and He expects you to welcome them the same way you yourself was welcomed by Him. God blesses with contentment, who said it would be with a man/woman of your dreams. so why are people still picky? Nonsense. be open to everyone. now there will be times where you have to discern from negative people because they can hurt your walk with Christ. So, it seems to me that there must be some common ground in the beginning of the relationship. Some may use certain checklists to narrow down the search for a mate. I do not necessarily think anything wrong with their approach as long as the person has inquired from the Lord about it first. Post Reply

If anyone claims to love God they must have love and you know what the Bible says about love...it's forgiving,kind,e.t.c...i don't believe that anyone should have a checklist as a Christian,God already knows who He will give you,He can't give you something you don't deserve,never ever! God creates everything perfectly,wonderfully for Himself. Even when we get to have our partner,s/he is given to us for God and not for ourselves! Post Reply
