Admin	Conservative Posted : 14 Oct, 2011 06:18 PM When a man puts conservative on his profile. I tend to think he is "Cheap" ! I do not like dating a cheap man. I maybe wrong but I am sure that is what it means in a nice way. Also, they do not like spending much money. Or either they do not have much. Any Comments? Post Reply

More often than not putting conservative in a profile is usually in regards to political views. It doesn't automatically mean "cheap". There are cheap people on both sides of the political spectrum just as there are big spenders on both sides. I think it's best not to make immediate judgments about someone based our immediate reaction to a certain word. That said I do think that there is a line between being cheap and being a big spender a balance between the two. We should not be wasteful in our spending or spend just to spend, but we also should not be hoarding or penny pinching (the character scrooge comes to mind). I think there needs to be a balance, spending what's needed when it's needed, as well as allowing the occasional splurge, but stopping short of being wasteful. We are after all called to be good stewards of our money which we have because God has given it too us. Post Reply

If they're looking at my bank balance and how much I'll spend on them then I'm choosing to stay single! Post Reply

Many men are generous, however, some are very conservative. There are several women on here, whom they are not looking for a man with little money or a stingy man. They may never say it out loud on a Forum. But then, they still agree. Christians also have a desire for a specific mate and when we Date we are to Date a man/woman, who will utimately fit into what we desire as a spouse. IMHO Post Reply
