But if I post my picture I don't get any. If we are true Christians why would you judge someone by there outward appearance. I believe a person should be judged by the way they are inside not the way they look. I admit I am overweight, do'es that make me a bad person? God judges a person by the way there heart is. Ask a friend to take a few casual shots of you and add those to your profile. Have them stand back a bit; get a shot of your upper body, and one of all of you, standing. If you include one of you doing something you enjoy that always catches the ladies attention. Sorry to say, being an internet dating site, the visuals are emphasized more than they should be. If they do not have one Posted on CDFF then they would have to send them one to their personal email address. Looks are important to Most men. So, I guess many women feel the same when they are looking for a Man. I myself, do not judge by looks. I go by the whole package Godly life first, compassionate, romantic, active, and looks come last. I probably fall in the small percent of women who do that.:laugh: Post Reply

I will say this...we attract what we are. Cobbler, well you know where I am coming from...my evaluation of you is in written form somewhere in the bible forum. angel, well i wrote a letter to a believer not all that long ago, no picture....she blocked me without responding. No doubt something about her "religion" didn't sit well with my walking the walk. Looks to me are preferences, not a need, barely a want. The fact is that ANY two believers can marry and have a wonderful, full, permanent relationship..its really only a matter of the mind....renewing the mind according to the word of God...that, young lady is the sum and substance of it....yes, that does mean understanding the word to begin with, when you have a faulty foundation, or faulty knowledge of the word, have received bad doctrine...well that is a handicap......the point is ya start from where you are and move forward every day.... If you are willing to date 9 years younger but only two years older I would guess that to be because of looks. You don't see as many older women you find attractive as you do younger ones. Nothing wrong with that. I my self have and would only date a couple of years older or younger. That's what I personally am attracted to. As much as we like to pretend that looks are not important we can't really get away from it. It's just a part in being a human. Not that that should be the most important thing. But it is a part of what makes us decide on some one. Dating sites are even harder then real life. Unless your really good looking. Then you get lots of guys bugging you till you change your picture to a cute kitty ;) But really unless some one is on the forums all they have to go on is some ones looks. How do you search? You set it to the places in your area. Then the age groupe you find exceptable and you search. What makes you even click on there profile? How they look, right? So if your not the better looking ones they don't usaly even look. In person you have a better chance because they can fall in love with you because of your personality. But if you keep posting in the forums a lady might notice you that way. But if your picky also you might just end up with no one. Post Reply
