Are There Ever Second Chances?

I understand as Christians we make mistakes and we are not perfect. I married a nonChristian at age 18 and was almost in that abusive marriage for 18 years. Now divorced with 3 beautiful girls, I am wondering is there a such thing as a second chance to be married again? Just don't seem to be any hope....

Yes there is hope!!! It may be a hard time for you now, but it will get a lot better soon. Try to work on finding yourself and see what makes you happy. You have just started a new life. Best wishes to you on your journey.

Doesn't Jesus teach that there is always hope? If Jesus said it, IT IS TRUE, and I believe it!



We make mistakes and hopefully we learn from them; we learn more about ourselves and other people, and we move on a little wiser :-)



My advice is this: Let this all happen in God's time. Don't push for it (trust me), and believe that God will give you the desires of your heart according to His will and in His time.



Another thing to consider: Do you ever pray for the guy God wants to put in your life? For instance, pray for his health, his emotional well-being, his spiritual well-being...things you would pray for if this man was actually manifested in your life right now.



Sometimes God is working in us and we are not where we need to be in order to be with that other person, or He is working in them and healing pain and bringing them to a place where they will be a solid partner. In other words, maybe God is getting you both ready and won't bring this to fruition until you are both where He wants you to be.



Do not give up. I have been through feeling the same things you are, but you can't use the words, "HOPE" and "DEFEAT" as synonymous :-)

Listen!!!

A mistake is only a mistake if you don't learn from it but if

you learn from it, it becomes a teaching tool, so you don't repeat yourself therefore: you become wiser.

So don't waste your life focusing on the mistake that was but focus on the lesson, as it then teaches you how to make a better choice the second time. Be wise!!!

Listen again,

You can date any race of your choice and if anyone tells

you otherwise, such a person does not know God at all.

As God is a God of many color's, i hope this help's you understand. Remember, one of Moses wife was a black woman and one of Noah's son's was also married to a black woman but yet Moses was a great man of God and through one of Noah's son's, through him the seed of Cain was carried on.

There was a time when I am thinking the same as yours. But, then I came to realized that God does not want us to live that kind of life. We deserved to live a happy life, that's what God designed for us. (^-^)
