Admin	Only God can stop us Posted : 15 May, 2011 11:25 AM This morning I turned on the TV and saw a part of a Jimmy Swaggart service (his eldest son was preaching) and he said this that really spoke to me, he said "My mother truly is a godly wife. When all hell broke loose when my daddy fell into sin, when it affected his ministry, his family, his wife, the way people will view him still even today (though he's already repented and turned away from sin, even some christians today still hold him to it)... my mother never left his side, even though she had a right too and a biblical right. She told him in the eye of this storm, "God brought us together, He has been with us in good and in bad, and in this time of evil turmoil I will stick by your side, Let the devil try and stop us... the only one who can stop us now is God Himself." Wow!!! Say what you want of jimmy swaggart, hate him, love him, agree/disagree with him... but i'm focused on his wife. if you truly pay attention she truly is a woman to praise! I'm saying all this cos majority of us are on here looking for a relationships leading to marriage (and others are just looking for temporary romance. a date.), but we must understand that marriage truly is not just roses and sweetness, sometimes you gotta get your hands dirty, and sometimes you gonna feel frustrated... but with all the dirt, blood and sweat put into it, it shows... marriage in the end... the fruits of it is a beautiful thing! (in the Lord... a marriage not founded on Christ is doomed from the beginning. so we all need to work out our own salvation, become strong with our relationship with Christ and when the Lord unites a Man and a Woman togehter, think how dynamic their marriage will be!) Yes, I've never been married and am looking for my beloved, but I am very observant and learn from what I see or hear or read! I just wanted to share with all of you this! lol, I remember when a reporter asked billy grahams wife "have you ever thought of divorcing dr. graham?" I did the same with my first husband, but after several affairs, the Lord directed me out of it. That ministry was the one I followed because of the good preaching, basics of the cross, blood and non-nonsense pentecostal power. The music was and still is anointed. I wish there was a church in my area like that one. Post Reply
