I would like to pose a question. I try my best to be the Christian that God desires. I try to keep myself very clean, responsible and respectable, and I try to take initiative and work hard to set an honest and hardworking life. Yet all of this seems to be to no avail. I have tried communicating with various women on here as well as in real life. Every time, without fail, before the conversation stage is over, everything evaporates. No more contact or communication and I am back at square one. I stay within my bounds and not become overbearing or aggravating in the conversation, and everything seems to go well. Then all of a sudden nothing. I have tried to talk more, but nothing and no reason. Does anyone have any advice as to how to find the proverbial "one" everyone refers to.

I think the fact there's so many of us on here proves how difficult it really is to find that 'one'. Keep looking, keep trying - they won't ALL reject you...

Country, I just checked out your profile. May I suggest some more info about yourself? Write about how you came to know the Lord. Tell a little bit about your church. What are you studying?

You are 21. Be fair to yourself and patient with the ladies. There are very few 21 year olds here. Have you tried the young adults chat room?

Hang in there!

You need info about yourself. A picture helps too.

Perhaps some women are talking with you out of politeness but they don't really know who you are. For example: I checked your profile and it doesn't say specifically too much about you, your walk with the Lord, or more on what you are looking for.

Also, what do you look like? Now I know many say "what does looks have anything to do with love?" that saying is partially true. we women are just as visual as men are... its not that we are looking for a MODEL, we just want to know who we are talking too... put a face on the person! Its just natural! I hope this helps :)

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. I had another profile, with a picture and a brief summary and introduction, much more than I have now. I do agree with everyone, more info+pic makes much better profiles, I just got a new profile and was trying this out. It did not seem to help before, even with the info and everything. I know what everyone is thinking, this guy is probably a creeper or insulting, I made every effort to avoid both of those stereotypes as much as possible. Thank You all again for your advice.
