I enjoy my time around her, but I never even really considered dating her since I live an hour away, and we maybe see each other once or twice a month. At a wedding we were both at last weekend, I had multiple people make comments about how they thought we would make a great couple, or wondering if there was something going on between us. My mom has told me several times that she thinks I need to date her. Does anybody else have experience dating someone picked out by their parents? She checks off pretty much all the boxes on my checklist, but I think my main objection is that it just feels so... arranged. Post Reply

I mean, I was literally about to go to bed and this girl messaged me dropping not so subtle hints that her friend liked me. Then she just jumped right to, "and i know you like her too, so call her tomorrow and do something about it!" Whoa there! Can you say bedtime surprise? Hahaha Post Reply
