I'm bored with my last post it's reaking in waaaayyyyy too much legalism. I can smell the stench from here. Are there any real men out there? An Eph 5:28 man is who I'm searching for that's the kind of man I will follow his lead because he's submitting to me and Im submitting to him. We're both submitting and loving each other. Men who lead by setting the example of loving their wives like Christ loved the Church won't have to demand, beg and plead for a woman to submit to them. The ladies will jump at the opportunity to submit to a man of this obedience to the bible. Gbu Kimberly:-) Post Reply

Posted : 29 Mar, 2010 01:25 PM If there were real men who seek to be that... and they mailed you and you never answered them.... would that serve as a good reason to conclude the question is moot? :-) It's awful hard to love my wife when I can't find her. It's really bizarre that the only people who ever seem to want to converse are in other countries pretty much. It's hard to develop a discerning relationship at that distance and I'm not rich. Here in Bozeman there are like..4 women on here and I don't think any of them want to talk to anyone as old as me. Somehow age-prejudice is the dominating thing in the US. I think that's because the media is so effective in portraying the kind of relationship the world idealizes...whereas God idealizes a man more mature to represent Jesus and the woman less mature-the church. We've got plenty of immature women to choose from obviously :-)..problem is they've looped the religion of age-nazi-ism into their immaturity here pretty much so... I don't really see where I have a shot in the dark online. All people see is the age. They can't see that I'm in the shape of a 30 year old. And they certainly don't seem to care that I've sold out to serving God. They'd much rather find some guy with one foot..a leg...and...pretty much the rest of him save maybe a hangnail in the world... who is the right age and has 2 eyes and all his teeth. -Bob Post Reply

View Profile History	Where are all the Eph 5:28 men? Posted : 15 Jul, 2010 10:07 PM There are many men who believe very strongly in biblical applications in marriage and relationships. I won't get into the male/female roles in society that makes it difficult in our day and age, but Submission is the only way for marriage to work and experience the fruits of the spirit in my opinion, but are we not polluted by the world in our thinking and behaviour in relationships? I think we are in many ways. The gospel Word of God transforms this by the renewal of our mind. For instance Philippians 2, (Imitating the Humility of Christ) is one way of being obedient and submitting to our partner out of love. When you start practicing this you are submitting to Christ and the Word of God and you consider other's better than yourself as it says in Phil. 2, it is humble servant and follower of Christ that is living out his faith and love in Christ. Submitting is an intimate act of love, the opposite to pride. I believe if two people believe this, they have something really special and there is less conflict overall, therefore the fruit of the Spirit, "Peace" is experienced and is the return blessing. My hats off to you for actually understanding how obedience is supposed to work in a marriage Do not ever settle! I just hope your forgiveness is as knowledgeable. Just read this forum and this was not a healthy debate....this was a button pressed initially...and people reacting off statements that were just rediculous....How do you categorize every man on this site??? absurd....
