I'm not calling you a liar, a false teacher, or insulting your intelligence and knowledge of the truth. Maybe I should have said "insulting him", instead of "speaking down to him", and I would consider my "speaking down to you" more like the rebuking the bible advocates. If you don't like it, then you should do unto others as you would have them do unto you. I'm not asking you to leave, or stop rebuking, or stop correcting, or to stop sharing your beliefs, or to stop defending the truth. I'm not even saying you're not being loving, I don't want to assume if you are or not, I'm just asking that you try to appear more loving to other people, because it's not always easy to see on the internet. In person, people can feel the spit flying into their face, and they'll know you're angry and not being loving. In person, people can hear your tone and see your expression, and they can know when you're being loving, even if you're calling them a false teacher. :peace::peace: Post Reply

However I do call him a liar and false teacher and there are witnesses to this as well. Is that insulting? If so then insulting is not a sin or Jesus was a sinner. I hate even typing out that type of hypothetical. That's a slippery slope you are walking on. Post Reply

When I finally learned I was guilty and deserving of death and that whatever anyone has done toward me I am guilty as well. I am able to let go of righteously judging them and free to forgive instead. This took me learning how to deal also with my own emotions and decrease in my reacting to people. Not that I have perfected not reacting though I still have much to mature in that. Post Reply
