This is my first time being on any dating website. and since joining I've only spoken to 2 people. Not a bad thing.. but I have private messaged tons of others and either got the generic Instant I'm not interested button even tho i was not looking anything more than a conversational friend. or my Private Message was read but never replied too. And this has been about 30/40 People who have done this :party: if I hit 50 I wanna through a party /joke :dancingp: But anyway is this common? Post Reply

I'm not often join in the thread coz I feel that my English grammar is not that good. So sometimes I'm just a ghost follower of this forum. On this tread i learned that i should be more courteous. After checking my inbox, I admit that i failed to reply some of the messages. @beautyfromashes, In most dating, most reasons of member in joining the site is to find possible relationship and only few looking just for a friendship. they maybe friend at first but always there's a hope that it will end into a relationship. Every time i told to the guy that I only looking for friendship at this time..most of them stop contacting me. So i guess friendship is not that common on the site. Post Reply

Out of probly 7 girls or so,only one who truly not only reads my messages,but always replies me back! The thing is that i've learned was that they're either looking for a specific type of guy or just like Tulip said earlier i'm just too far away since i live in the Caribbean. I also think that it's better(just an opioin so you still have your own choice to make) to look for a lady who wants a friendship/email talk buddy on their profile rather than one who wants a long term relationship/marriage partner on profile since it's a possibitliy that like i've said earlier,they're looking for a certain type of man they want & most of the time,they're possibly get more responses than others do.Do'nt worry if also if she only replies to all of your messages only.Most women prefer the tradtional "man approaching them first".It's better that way for now,than her only reading your messages & never repling at all!
