Posted : 3 Jul, 2012 07:31 AM i think we all have them right? and dream about them them at night :zzzz: perhaps we might not say it out loud for all to hear but deep inside we know what we want near but we all have them right? even if my face brings fright if not, then we would all be married already and not just checking out profiles to go steady some like people with a different skin tone some like them white as a bone :purpleangel: some like them bald with a shinny reflection some like them hairy a haircut rejection some like them with a hat some like them fat some like them thin some like them because of the job they are in one girl said he needs a big package! i think that christian is a little wackage! i once asked a girl out from a dating site didn't know if she was black or white she had no photo on her profile i like a woman with some style her emails had me walking on air but all of her teeth just wasn't there she said she was average, but average for what when your at my age, looking for perfection your not maybe God just made me this way or is that the excuse i will say tell me what you say, you have freedom of expression and lets get started with this preference session by vic one woman got upset because i asked her for a full length picture, some don't want to send a closeup! i think honesty has to be a priority for trust and then love what do you think? we are spiritual but do we have to not like the physical? issac liked rebecca whats so bad about that? and we see jacob got the old bait and switch, when he didn't have a light on during the honeymoon right? No one is saying you should pick someone who repulses you in order to honour God. I don't believe it would; in fact I think it would do the opposite because your heart is not there. And NO relationship should be out of duty, only from the heart. That's true with people relationships and with our God, as you�ve said so well in other posts. I'm simply suggesting that, if we rely on our senses to set the compass, we sell ourselves short, and miss out on other treasures. If a "7" repulses you, then by all means land the starlet! I�m just saying, if this were The Price is Right, you could pick door number one with the Lamborghini ... or, you could pick door number two that has a Jetta sedan, a camper trailer and a speed boat! Posted : 4 Jul, 2012 08:25 PM there is no pat answer to this debate i think! i remember telling my mother joking around that i wanted to visit her with a very young woman, she got all upset, then i pressed her for what age she thought would be respectable for a man my age, she stated it should be about 10 years within mine. my kid who as of this date is 19 years old started in on me when i told him i was talking to a younger woman, around his age. i was joking and eventually he realized i was just feeling him out, it must be the "boaz" in me! my searches are about my age, i think God takes away all the crazy ideas and gives us what we need in the end, and knows what we will be content with. if it's in ministry, i think thats even harder to search. i don't remember seeing any search filter for that at any free or pay dating site! distance is another thing all together, i think it's best to be close, but even that can be overcome i think, but that should be done with extreme caution. Joseph in the bible had to go through a lot before he got married. not only in distance but in social standing. from being the prince in his house, to a slave and even a prisoner. hopefully by the way the lady who motivated me to write the poem, did send me like 6 photos and some were full length, i guess all this talk has shown her i wasn't just looking for a barbie shape, but i didn't want to meet some one who wasn't what their profile reported , honesty is big for me and think trust is needed before true love can develop. but i do think some people are unrealistic in their preferences. but they should be open to what God has for them too. hard choice but everything needs to put before God. Being on the same page spiritually is very important for all Christians, not like prefering a height or hair colour. Post Reply

Trust and Bekieve, you and I think a lot a like, or are moved by the Lord in the same topics:) :angel: Totaly agree and I am so happy to see us having these types of discussions on here, really I think it is sooo good for brothers and sisters to be thinking through the pos and negs of how we view, choose and treat each other on here. As spiritual beings not cattle. Preferences arent bad and standards arent bad and I think anyone who has read my profile or my posts knows that I really have been thinking a lot about how this process works since I have not been on long and how we need to keep the Christian in the dating process at Spiritual Level. I think we need to remember that a picture is just a picture till we meet the person. If you meet someone at church, you dont say, hay could you come over tomorrow and wear a different dress so I can see how you look in spandex or a different hairstyle...LOL we are seeing the real thing when we meet in person and we want to meet someone that not only we think we could be attracted to physically but someone we may want to actually spend 5 hours talking to about the Lord as well as other topics....maybe even a life time...LOL The photo is there to give you a feel for what the soul you are tlaking to looks like:) LOL Post Reply

I have had a friend tell me he met a lady in person and she was Huge, he went ahead and took her to dinner but when she called he avoided too calls then finally he answered and told her on the 3rd call, he met someone else which was Not true. He wanted to meet a Christian lady. Now, is that anyway to be, why not tell the truth to her! A man contacted me on here and said most women lie on these sites and have photo not up to date and it is hard to meet a honest woman. I agreed but said, I am not One of those type people. Post Reply

I like ham at Christmas too much. :D lol certainly i can't see anybody trying to restrict what i eat! ham with pineapple and syrup is great! ham with pineapple makes a great topping on a pizza too! :O ------------- princessofredeemer Vic, love the poem.. wow you are creative and have higher brain functions...LOL Good thought questions... thanks for the compliment. some do doubt my mental abilities! sometimes i doubt them myself! just today i went to my mom and dad's house, took pictures of them with the kids and me, then i told them to give me their state id so i could take it home and scan and email it so they can apply for some new housing, when i got home i thought, why did i have to take their id's i had a camera, i could have taken pictures of their state id and download it to my computer! well now they will be like 2 or 3 days without state id's, i hope they don't get deported? lol had a great time taking pictures though, i tried to upload a new picture of myself, but it says i have the limit of picture :( and then i delete one picture, and now it says my picture is too big! is that cdff's way of saying i'm too fat! lol exceeding joy "Unfortunately, all the men that contact me look at the photo and few read the Profile on these Christian sites. I agreed but said, I am not One of those type people." i think for now on i am going to insist on a picture with the woman holding a current newspaper, like the kidnapped people do! lol just to show it's current! sorry you didn't like my joke, christian guys think it's funny though, i guess you can see why i have nobody! :( i do have a weird sense of humor, women don't like that joke with good reason! lol i actually had one pastor of a church say i shouldn't make fun of hitler in my comedy routine that i have on youtube?! he said i might offend someone who lost a loved one in the war! but i think it's ok to snap on one of the biggest killers this world has ever seen! maybe i should ask a jewish person or a rabbi to look at my comedy and see what they say! i love being creative but keeping the comedy clean is hard, i bet i could really make some money if i was to get dirty but i will refrain! i plan to go to new york city and maybe do some open mics nights there, maybe , lets see!
