Admin	Lets hear some ideas on how to meet other Christian singles Posted : 4 Dec, 2010 06:34 PM Ok, so yesterday I posted asking what people do on Friday nights. Well I learned I might need to go to the grocery store on Fridays since that is one of the things a lot of people do. lol So lets hear some ideas on ways to meet single Christians of the opposite gender. I mean we are not exactly going to get un-single if we keep sittin around the house. Someone mentioned they look for singles activities at other churches on Fridays. I still haven't figured out how to approach a single woman at church (if I could even find any), but that is an option. What other ideas can people think of? Post Reply

That way you get out of your circle of friends, but you're still pretty sure they're Christian. Approaching them is as simple as introducing yourself, as church, bible study, etc. are places where people expect to meet new people. Post Reply

San Francisco -- where the men are beautiful, and the women are very, very lonely. Yeah. Between that and being very liberal non-Christians, it is not at all easy. Post Reply

I pulled up all my stakes and left Washington State to move to California two years ago. I'd move again within the State, but not out. My family is here, and so am I. View Profile History	Lets hear some ideas on how to meet other Christian singles Posted : 5 Dec, 2010 10:57 PM I think it's a lot more easier and natural to find out what they believe when on the date, rather than before you ask them out. Even if they do consider themselves a Christian, they may not believe the same things the same way you believe, and even if they do, you don't know if you have chemistry or are right for each other. You find all that out later when you date and get to know them better. If nothing else it's a great way to share/discuss/examine what you believe with some one that doesn't. Post Reply

I have a 3 year old that is with me almost always (I have full custody) so I never get approached at any store. Could it be because I have my daughter with me? Also, I've been hearing a lot lately from people I met not too long ago that I look like I'm in my 20's even though I'm 38. Could it be that no guy wants to "rob the cradle" so to speak, or do I just not have the look any guy is looking for?? ('Cause I don't get approached by guys in their 20's either LOL) Post Reply
