Admin	"The Emperor Has No Clothes!" Posted : 29 Jan, 2010 12:25 PM I've been walking around these past weeks believing I was wearing these beautiful garments of Love and Affections. It turns out that in reality I was parading around naked! I paid no attention to the reactions of those around me or to the nagging doubt in my head. I now fully realize my "blindness" and plain stupidity. It astounds me how people can lie to themselves and more importantly can lie to others. They can plow through a garden of beautiful flowers...smashing and destroying them and then turn around and say "What...where...I don't see what you are talking about?" I consider myself very intelligent yet I have no ability now to distinquish the "truth" from well delivered lies. I have made a fool of myself...like I said i have been Parading around naked. I am going to go on a retreat. A sabbatical. I am going to focus on God and Prayer. I am leaving a door open to this woman...to give her a chance to "wake" up. I ask your prayers for God to either keep this door open or to slam it shut. I am going to leave this site. It is a great place for those that are diligent and CAUTIOUS. I may return...we will have to wait and see. I will say good bye to those that I consider my friends. Thank you all for the wonderful Fellowship and learning. This is Truly a garden of Wonderfully made Flowers...of various Colors and Scents. I will take with me fond memories and laughter and many Insights into how my Brothers and Sisters think and react. I would just say, brother, that forsaking fellowship is something you should do very rarely, and only for very short times. And then, only at God's direct leading. If you can answer yes to being led by God to do this, then it must be a God thing and we won't stand in your way. Otherwise...... hang around, stay in the background if you want, and keep letting God mold you. Our Pastor has been talking about using the Bible as a mirror. When we look in the mirror and see a big 'ole piece of lettuce between our teeth we don't shrug our shoulders and say "So What', or ignore it. We do something about it. When we read the Bible and we see things about ourselves or our lives and don't do anything about it or just shrug -- we are not pleasing God. Sounds like you looked in the mirror of the Word and saw something that needed fixing. Join the club, brother!! But don't forsake the club unless you are really, really sure that is what God wants you to do. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Post Reply

I cannot find the words to express how I "genuinely" consider you all My Friends! We have never laid eyes on each other or shook hands or exchanged a kiss of greeting, yet I have developed a closeness and fondest for each of you. This site has become my "Reality TV". I would look forward to reading your thoughts and insights. To being touched by your Sweetness and wonderful Love for humanity or Inspired by your commitment to God's Word and your Integrity in never wavering from it. If Jesus ever decides to start up new Apostles...He would need not go any farther than this site and this Forum and if He also wanted to find Seven new Dwarfs...well (sNicKEr!) (You know who you are!). I want to thank all of you for your words...for your prayers. My problem is simply that I am this walking Love Bomb! My circumstances over the last 10 years of my life have left me desperately in need of Love and Affection and I find myself with a very short fuse. Also I have this pair of Rose Colored Glasses that I tend to put on. I have the Heart of a Poet and the common sense of a six year old bottle of Scotch (Single malt). I can be as delicate as a China man in a Bull Shop and as thoughtful as Peter (open mouth...insert foot...remove foot...insert other foot!). I do think though that I need to spend more time alone with my Counselor (Jesus). So I've decided that Friday the 5th we'll have a BBQ at my house (yeah for Florida weather) and we'll have a proper goodbye. I will most likely be back as I still have a mission (converting Walter to Catholicism) and being a "fly in the ointmenT" to some posts. So bring a small dish (potato salad -- cole slaw etc.) ...I'm baking fresh bread (Foccacia and Artisian) and a BBQ Pizza "on the Grill". All My Love!! God Bless You!! Steve Post Reply

We be your friends fer sure wether ya like it not...lol...Ya know, Jesus was/is the one that circled the many cuz he didnt/doesnt wanna lose not one lil sheep...and we are but a few in the many that circle the one becuz we dont wanna lose one lil sheep either...So you do what ya gota do...go an seek an be with Him...(Jesus)...its what He wants the most anyway...your undivided attention...GOD's blessins to ya today an always...luv ya...xo P.S. But, I want you to know that I am coming to Florida ONLY because of the company and the friendship. It has absolutely nothing to do with the sunshine, warm weather, lack of snow shovels and ice scrapers.... She is worth every bit of "discomfort" or "misunderstanding" I may have to go through. This latest one is mostly my fault and the key word is Jealousy. So...I feel that I should step away from the car and place my hands on the hood...no wait! That's another movie. You folks have been so good for me. Some of you have been Steaks!! Yum! Yum!
